07/5/2024 13:37 | Good day Thompsonnic Good idea. She'a probably a lot nastier. And maybe a carrot to go with the stick in the form of a Peerage. | bracke
07/5/2024 08:24 | Bracke Call in the heavy mob.....Boris Don't you mean Penny Mordaunt. | thompsonnic
06/5/2024 12:22 | Good day disc0 Alternatively Mr Sunak may be inclined to put him in a headlock to 'encourage' him to make a cut or two prior to the election. If Sunak doesn't fancy doing the job himself he could call in the heavy mob.....Boris! | bracke
05/5/2024 13:00 | Mr b"Mr Bailey go it alone with a rate cut, where do you get such outlandish thoughts!"lolYou never know, miracles do happen, and his week of reflection (post the FED decision) whilst relaxing in a Bognor Regis B&B, may inspire him to take the opportunity to show Mr King and his critics that he can actually make a decision despite his forecasting model being a pile of Pooh!.....his moment of glory awaits!. | disc0dave46
03/5/2024 19:58 | disc0 Mr Bailey go it alone with a rate cut, where do you get such outlandish thoughts! | bracke
03/5/2024 13:16 | Good afternoon Mr b"Remember a broken clock is correct twice a day"That was my point really and not worthy of posting such nonsense where such a guru as yourself resides :)As for Mr P, no comment!, NFP in a few minutes time so let's see if our cousins panic, ignore, or get too excitable. Forecast I believe is 243k.Be interesting to see if our Mr Bailey actually does something next week he's not done so far - make a decision ignoring what Mr P has done this week and apply some common sense and cut, but somehow I very much doubt it!. | disc0dave46
03/5/2024 12:51 | Good day disco "trt’s predictions are like a broken record, or is it broken clock!. Either way a wind up." ==================== Remember a broken clock is correct twice a day. In the meantime I thought Mr Powell avoided 'rocking the boat'. I have come to the conclusion the aim is to keep 'things steady' and if possible at least one rate reduction just before the November Election. If the pressure is for a rate increase hold it off until after the election if at all possible. | bracke
03/5/2024 09:31 | More like an earthenware pot full of excrement | casket1
02/5/2024 20:05 | Shouldn't bother Mr b tbh, trt's predictions are like a broken record, or is it broken clock!. Either way a wind up. | disc0dave46
02/5/2024 16:53 | That's more like the trt we have come to know. | bracke
02/5/2024 15:17 | If £55 doesn't hold we could easily see £50. | trt
01/5/2024 18:28 | Good day disc0 You have been conspicuous by your absence. I presume you have been away on one of your cruises. As for trt's £55 I am surprised at his restraint. I would have expected £50. On this occasion he could be in 'with a shout'. £55 is only a 38.2% retrace from the recent high to the last major low. I suppose it depends how hawkish Mr Powell wants to be. I doubt he wants to overly frighten the market bearing in mind the November election so no rate reduction but no talk of only 1 or 2 cuts. Steady as she goes and more of the 'be guided by the data'. | bracke
01/5/2024 18:21 | Thanks Mr b for your insight, as ever. Will say it again - Mr P is a numpty, the FED have poured petrol on inflation and what a surprise wages have gone up!, WTF did they expect?. Rant over. | disc0dave46
01/5/2024 18:14 | Pmsl....dont think there's a two digit number he hasn't called......and from memory it never comes to fruition. A good luck mascot. | disc0dave46
01/5/2024 17:08 | trt says lower...again. lol | palwing32
01/5/2024 15:26 | Bracke Cheers for the info so it looks like next stop 5558. | thompsonnic
01/5/2024 14:20 | One gap filled, two in line at 5558 and 5312. The share price has returned to the 'comfort' of the rising channel. Unless Mr Powell wants to show off his Dove plumage 5558 is likely to fill today/tomorrow. If he is in Hawk mode 5312 is at risk. The ADP Employment Change today was below the previous reading (208k) but above expectation (175k). AHT DAILY | bracke
01/5/2024 10:21 | I live in hope. | 2flatpack
01/5/2024 09:18 | Could see profit taking bringing this down to below £55 | trt
01/5/2024 08:37 | Bracke Gap at 5760 filled and more. You mentioned a further gap to fill at 5312, will this be the case or will that be saved for another day. That would definitely be a buying opportunity. | thompsonnic
01/5/2024 08:23 | EDIT: 1 minute later, 5728. Gap over filled? | palwing32
01/5/2024 08:22 | 08:21 - 5750p Gap filled? | palwing32 |
