10/1/2012 11:18 | Looking good for a breakout here imo - very firm today. CR | cockneyrebel
09/1/2012 08:10 | 0727 GMT [Dow Jones] Royal Bank of Scotland upgrades Yule Catto (YULC.LN) to buy from hold and raises price target to 210p from 190p following recent underperformance. Notes the shares have underperformed the European chemical sector by 18% since early July, which offers a very attractive entry points. Reckons Yule's earnings will be much more than the sector average. Says although volumes and prices are dropping, this should be largely offset by declining raw material prices and synergies from the PolymerLatex acquisition. Shares closed Friday at 169p. | cambium

20/12/2011 13:25 | Just read the NT update now and further down the article he had shares he was watching for 2012 including YULC: "Yule Catto (YULC) I wonder whether this could be a bid target next year? Given its massive recent slump could it go the way of Charter and get snapped up while cheap? I'll be considering tucking some away next year on a bad day and holding for the potential takeover. Even without it begins to look cheap. Downside of course if we have a terrible 2012." | andygibb101
20/12/2011 12:27 | Following your article Andy (andygibb101 - 1 Dec'11 - 08:10 - 1189 of 1196) Naked Trader took profit at 175 and bought again at 153 as per his writeup last Sunday (18/12/11): "Yule Catto rose strongly however encountered a lot of sellers after it sped up towards 180 so I exited at 175 and 174 on the spreads at a total profit of £690. Sellers continued in however it surprised me by heading right back to the support area of 152 so I nabbed a new spreadbet on it for £30 at 153." | odys2
16/12/2011 08:54 | The 2012 eps forecasts indicate that over the past ten years the company has not made any great progress although turnover is much higher. I feel this is an income stock without the dividend at present although undeniable good value. | gopher
14/12/2011 21:04 | As per Yule Catto website (Investor Relations page) Preliminary announcement 14th March 2012 | copyright

10/12/2011 00:54 | Ohhhh Dear Godddddd!!!!! why in the hell did this stock fall 2.7percent (according to google) when everywhere else was about .5 to 1 percent up. UUURRRRGGGHHHHH, why did anyone profit take on the back of good news from the EU which has dragged the share price down way below what it should be, particulary given the nice sensible rise in the share price of late.............. ridiculous!!!!! so frustrated Cheers anyhoo. | cocomac0
01/12/2011 11:12 | agree andy, & I bought some more this morning. | scottishfield
01/12/2011 08:10 | Looks like a good move to sell the pharma division, all this business is moving to manufacturers in China and India making it very hard for European and North American co's to compete on price, and lately quality. Also see Naked Trader topped up: "And I've been wandering around a few bombed out shares and noticed out of favour Yule Catto (YULC) sitting near a low point. It looks mighty cheap now so I grabbed some at 152 and on a spreadbet at 153. They really can't be worth much lower and targetting a medium term rise nearer the 180-200 area especially if there is a santa rally." | andygibb101
30/11/2011 18:56 | have we set a 3rd floor? | scottishfield
