Also brought back in here over last 2 days. This is a good company that has been sold down with the rest of the market. Sadly can't tuck any away in my ISA as it was foolishly filled in April, when the world seemed a happier place :-(

Well i did add a few on the drop to 210 this morning, it was my target price to add, just a bit galling to see it fall off sharply again after bouncing so well mid-morning. Tough markets! This is a great price i believe, i also think it's in a steady uptrend, under-valued compared to sector peers and am sure the performance post-acquistion in the half-yearly report will bear out the confidence of many on this board here (and all those brokers and tipsters saying buy too).

totally agree this new rule needs to be put in place asap, instead of leaving us to play blind without the correct information.

Copyright - Agree. They have to announce any price sensitive information as soon as they have it on all other matters so why in so many cases do we only hear of takeover approaches several weeks after the initial approach has been made, of course it may not come to anything, but it is price sensitve that one has even been made no matter how preliminary it may be ?? It is more price sensitive than anyhting else so why they dont have to announce it straight away is beyond me ! We shall see ........

doobster....I agree with you 100%, there should be a legal obligation in fact requirement to either confirm or deny any information, rumour or otherwise, which has been been put in front of the public domain within a specified period of time, ideally within 7 days of having been printed in the press or broadcast over the media, television, radio, the internet etc.

twice, now, YULC has featured, as subject of a possible takeover, and we have heard nothing whatsoever from the board of directors, if untrue or ubsubstantiated, then I would like to hear the board deny the rumour, it's not a lot to ask of them even without there being a legal requirement to do so, after all they have been elected to safeguard shareholders interest and to keep the market well informed of any price sensitive information.

I think the way RBS are suggesting that a bid is unlikely and the way that's got into the press too makes it seem a bid is all the more likely imo.

The big volume spike here in April is a positive sign - often a pre-cursor to a bid imo.

Watch out for these to rally again imo.
