i hope so. profitable at operating level you will find - bottom line level would be better; but hopefully that is coimg.
could be that they have to dip into the cash a bit accordingly. but all things in, at these levels risk reward looks favourable.

Value Viper - And they say they are profitable with a healthy balance sheet and cash in the bank. How many companies in this climate have been able to say that and also say their's is a growing market?
I think its only going one way.

Its been suggested by an observer that ISIS EP could be looking to merge Win with one of its companies that it has in its portfolio. The only company I can see having a fit with Win is TVC yet they dont own it they "invested £5 million as part of a £10 million deal" with replacement capital yet they must have a stake in it - how big I dont know.

this is part of TVC.

ISIS have mopped up all the dalton stake it would seem - nothing sloshing around in the market as such then, which is good.

The spread is so wise that this isn't a traders stock. Just sit tight as there should be a decent turn in the offing here.

Might be a little shake coming, how many of those buyers today and
yesterday actually plan to hold medium term or at least to a fair
price.

Offering 2500 max at 59.23p but 2 mm's have dropped to 60p offer
so i'll wait and see if they drop the offer further.

Still think like others it's going to 70p+ at some stage.

Looks like Dalton was our seller, so it will be interesting to see who the buyer of those shares was. Ideally, it will be a new institution rather than an existing holder, but either way the share base will be strengthened

I said earlier that a little interest here could see the price quickly up to 75p-80p imho given the lack of available shares. Here's the tip summary again:

"With its shares at 49p, WIN is capitalised at just £4.98 million. Strip out the cash and the business is being valued at £1.62 million or just 16p per share. This is less than 2x trough year earnings. Even accounting for the current difficulties with New Media and valuing the company on a lowly 5x forecast 2010 earnings + net cash suggests a share price of 95.5p – 95% upside from current levels. The shares are also supported by a dividend yield in excess of 4% at the current share price and I personally see even the earnings multiple I use as too conservative. However, the upside is clear. At 49p and at up to 60p with an initial price target of 95.5p, WIN is a "buy"."

Some people dont seem to have read the AGM statement on the 25th June:

"There are currently encouraging signs of growth within our key divisions of UK Managed Services and Enterprise. Gross profit for UK Managed Services, an area of major focus for the Group, increased by 11.6% during the first 5 months of 2009 compared to the same period last year. In addition, Pocket Group's Managed Services business has performed well. The Enterprise division recorded 19% growth in gross profit during the first 5 months of 2009 compared to the same period last year."

"WIN currently enjoys an established position within growing sectors of a market where we are focused on generating increasingly high margin business. We are profitable with an excellent customer base and a strong cash position. The progress we have already made in the year-to-date leaves us confident for the remainder of 2009."

Thank you rivaldo.

I've held these on and off since 2004 and in that time management have been continuously behind the curve (compare them to RGO in the same sector) relying too much on their declining premium line business and being slow to develop enterprise services. Their acquisitions have been consumer-facing which, while not being a disaster, have performed below the original expectations. Management haven't bought any shares for the last year and have very small stakes.

If you want a positive, then it's that I agree with spooky - they should get taken out at between 80-100p ... but then I thought that last year too.

I won't temper she-ra's enthusiasm with anymore naysaying :-)

I think you are more than mates.

BTW I didnt see any balanced arguments with 6 negatives and 0 positives from him.

She-ra, you're on completely the wrong track. WJCC is a respected poster who's been around on ADVFN for a long time - and he's one of the most balanced posters, who posts as he sees (negatives and positives). Having been in WNN myself before I also remember him having a holding here. I'm afraid you're not doing yourself any favours by attacking him!

LB - institutions will not be selling at these levels. Given that there are no signs of a turnaround they will imo be adding to their positions. Remember also the company has no debt which will increase the chances of a bid

WJCCGHCC - They have to state whether anyone from management was a bidder as that is regulatory rules.

By the way your original post said you were a shareholder however you listed 6 negatives and not one positive.5 of them were innacurate.

I think you are 'bash and buy'.

The issue here is that the shares are very tightly held by institutions - has always been the case. Therefore very difficult to move any shares in quantity.

Still the divi yield is good and the company has consistently generated cash. It has however yet to prove that it can deliver value from its acquisitions. With a vibrant management the company could make a good vehicle for consolidation in the industry, but this point has been oft mooted but never delivered.

The shares are cheap, but if it does go wrong you won't be able to get your money out - that is the problem.
