07/5/2008 10:05 | They are hardly being generous are they ! The bid is currently 133p online, it was 133p last week when they were quoting 127p on the monitor. | 8trader
07/5/2008 09:55 | Looks like they are still trying to unravel whatever trade has been going on in the background for the lastfew weeks. Hopefully todays rns will help them to clear out the remaining parts. GT | goonertone
07/5/2008 08:33 | Some people do invest for longer than a couple of hours you know. | lqs
07/5/2008 08:09 | Well these mm's will do everything they can to discourage trade. A 14p online spread for starters, hope that 3500 buyer is not a trader, going to be hard to get into profit day-trading this. | 8trader
07/5/2008 07:59 | come on WIN, you can do it. not quite the optimal RNS I was / am after (!) but it's a start nonetheless. promising stuff. | value viper
07/5/2008 07:51 | Good to see that Mr Rivers has been busy since the last trading update. Maybe we will see some upside pressure on the price now but I doubt it, probably drop 10% knowing my luck. What should I expect anyway with a company who only sign deals with second rate fly by night companies. GT | goonertone
07/5/2008 07:50 | A very good price which is now long gone, shame nobody listened. 06/5/2008 09:36 | Price is very volatile online on any trade. A 2k sale and now you can get 5k at 135.5p, not a bad price if you can be prepared to hold and not be put off by the large spread. The bid was 133p but dropped to 128p after that sale, it jumps about like i say on any trade. | 8trader
30/4/2008 17:15 | "what more can you ask" Well the one thing that has happened today and that's the mm's have no stock at all. When it was 127-136p they were bidding 133p for 12500 and offering 136p for 1k. They've tried to get this down but it's worked to a degree but i think this indeed will "pop" but it's not one for the traders. | 8trader
30/4/2008 17:10 | well i'm still in for the 'pop' one of these days - so little activity means MMs 'play' with it in my view - needs a solid RNS ideally along the lines of a takeover offer ! | value viper
30/4/2008 17:07 | Your echoing a bitbut not on your own. Wasn't in today so didn't see who was leading the charge but the offers being made over the last few weeks seemed very strange to me ie single mm dropping the price by 7p at times below the other 3 mm's. Not sure if it was to entice buys or to scare up sells but the continued crossover trades can't go on forever and some sort of rns holding RNS must surely be forthcoming. Whatever cash in hand, no debt, progressive dividend, acquisitons via internal funding and profitable what more can you ask. GT | goonertone
30/4/2008 11:46 | I might be talking to myself but i think i am right here. 127-136p spread, somebody buys 6000 and pays 140p which is some premium and no mark up. 136p offer for just 1000 shares online, they cant play this game for much longer ! | 8trader
29/4/2008 09:00 | Would i be right in saying that the mm's are taking the michael here in Wnn. Drop it on a 1k sale and ignore the 16+ buys. | 8trader
25/4/2008 22:50 | You cant and i doubt that 25k trade was just a ordinary buy either. These mid price trades have been happening for a while now but if they really had lots of stock to offer cheaply then the online buy limit would be more than 2500 at full 138p offer like your buy and the other small buy today. It's a case of slow drift down but when this goes blue the gains will be something special so trying to catch the extreme bottom will be difficult and getting stock now is the safe bet before others try to chase it when the mm's push it higher. | 8trader
25/4/2008 20:03 | chunky trade in the middle at 134 this am - assume someone has bought at a decent price. wish i could've got in at the mid. | value viper
25/4/2008 09:53 | That's sounds encouraging VV, online limits are good as well, just 2500 offered now but those mm's are reluctant to give this a nudge up when everything else is having a good run from time to time. Sure it's only a matter of time though. | 8trader
25/4/2008 09:46 | had a look at this, received the annual report in post y'day. bought some. | value viper
17/4/2008 08:48 | Goonertone. How did i miss that, i really did go through all those holding rns's ! But somehow i missed it, apologies to anybody who may have read it and i'll edit my posts. | 8trader
17/4/2008 08:39 | 8T Not sure where you get your RNS's from but Dalton had 973,540 on 5/9/07 RNS and Merrill had no notifiable interest as per 12/2 RNS. GT | goonertone
16/4/2008 13:07 | Could be right goonertone as still no holding rns's. Cant get a quote for under 140p now, any buy no matter small is being quoted 140p but this company is still well off the radar of this bulletin board. | 8trader
16/4/2008 06:38 | O/T = AMU Yes, Unfortunately under no time limits to advise on progress. Only need to advise when sorted one way or another. WNN - Was thinking that maybe the trades the other day was AXA or another big holder swapping their shares around the different funds. No big change to their holding hence no need for an RNS | goonertone
15/4/2008 13:57 | Hi Goonertone...O/T..do you still hold Amu..been a while on those talks ! Back to Wnn and my friend Tanners posted this on one of my threads about Wnn, you say there's a seller, i can agree but those online limits seem to suggest differently, 135-140p...can sell 12500 at 136.5p and only buy 5k at full 140p offer, next offer is 148p on L2 so there's quite a gap. Still over 5% of the stock that changed hands unnacounted for ? tanners - 11 Apr'08 - 10:13 - 232 of 239 (premium) Wnn looks interesting 8 trader......I had a brief look last night and the figures certainly look they should provide a base to the share price. From memroy I think the M/Cap is c. 12M but theres over 4 M of free cash on the balance sheet which leaves a Co valued at 8M and making PTP in excess of 2M. I'd be stretching it to say I fully understand the market it's in or the potential risks/downsides to it's trading but as a punt it certainly looks interesting. | 8trader
15/4/2008 13:49 | I see I was wrong with my wager and that it was AXA who upped their stake to 16+% on the 27th. Merrill offloaded their shares a while back do you think that one of the mm's picked them up and has been gradually working them through the market? GT | goonertone |
