12/7/2014 11:59 | Tembo-1 due to reach primary target in next ten days. If successful, we won't know for another 30-60 days until they have drilled down to secondary target at 4,300m... ... however if they do find commercial gas or oil in the Cretaceous at 2,200m in the next couple of weeks, you can be sure that Anadarko's advisers have prepared plans for a pre-emptive takeover bid for company which owns 75% of the Rovuma onshore acreage further north in the new play fairway, and Anadarko are likely to attempt that takeover before results of Tembo-1 are announced. 09/7/2014 10:50 | Has anyone had any feedback direct from the Co or comments about the constant delays to the signing of the Tanz GSA? Is there a risk here that the infrastructure will be complete with an unsigned GSA? Surely it is time for SOLO/AEX/WRL to come clean on the exact position? | pj 1
22/6/2014 21:17 | IST WELL OF 4 -SPUDDED E Wentworth Resources Limited ("Wentworth" or the "Company") Mozambique: Tembo-1 Drilling Operations Commence Wentworth, the Oslo Stock Exchange (OSE: WRL) and AIM (AIM: WRL) listed independent, East Africa-focused oil & gas company, today announces that drilling operations have commenced on the Tembo-1 well in the Rovuma Onshore Concession in northern Mozambique. Wentworth has an 11.59 percent net interest in this well which is being operated by Anadarko and drilled with the Helmerich & Payne rig #243. The Tembo-1 well is targeting mid-Cretaceous sands with secondary targets in the upper Jurassic. Tembo-1 has a planned total depth of 4,250 meters True Vertical Depth Sub Sea and is expected to take between 60 and 90 days to complete. An update on drilling operations will be provided after drilling operations have been fully completed. To date there have been two wells drilled in the Rovuma Onshore Concession including the Mocimboa-1 well, which encountered oil and natural gas shows in the Cretaceous and is located approximately 17 kilometres to the northeast of the Tembo-1 well. Geoff Bury, Managing Director, commented: "The Tembo-1 well is designed to test Cretaceous and Jurassic sands in the onshore area of the Rovuma Basin in northern Mozambique, and is the first of two wells that Wentworth will be participating in over the next six months at the concession. The Tembo prospect is one of the larger prospects (on pre-drill estimates) to be drilled to date in the onshore Rovuma Basin region of East Africa. It is a high impact frontier well and, if successful, could add significant new oil or natural gas resources for Wentworth and open up an entirely new play fairway." -Ends- | loobrush

15/3/2014 20:07 | Miss Womble, Sorry I did not see your post 236, so did not reply. Hope you have kept your shares and profited from the small uptick. By the way the report is not mine, but a Company presentation to Oilbarrel, that is why it was slick. I was unsuccessful trying to post a direct link here, but the content had been copied onto the Aminex board, so I posted that link. More to come with the Anadarko drill? Good luck all. | wbodger

12/2/2014 11:40 | Wbodger I read with interest your report on Wentworth on the Aminex board. It made good reading and folk should be appreciative of the effort you have to produce it. I have been a holder of some Wentworth shares for some considerable time and was getting a trifle bored with it. Now I'm not so sure. One major question, why in heavens are you not a holder of this share? Regards M W | miss womble
12/2/2014 11:11 | Am an Aminex holder. Anyone here know anything about the Wentworth Gas Supply Agreement and when it is due to be signed, or are both companies just waiting? | edgar222
06/1/2014 11:07 | Good buying today, and noted on proactive investors over the weekend.I am sure that this is one to get in now before the herd arrive. We have 4-6 months til the big drill and the herd will arrive. Just like TRP a few months ago, a lot of similarities here.Don't forget, this share was priced at 60 times higher back in its peak on the Oslo stock exchange. Been trading for not as long on AIM of course.Buy and hold. Consider selling done pre-drill with all the hype that will be around. | tipster29

16/12/2013 22:14 | Dalesman - that's the figure used in several models around the City, and has not been challenged by the company... | the esk
16/12/2013 21:56 | Hi the Esk many thanks. | dalesman
16/12/2013 18:38 | dalesman - 3.50 will get you pretty close to the figure.... (that's not a de-ramp, just figures that have been used in various models, and generally accepted) | the esk
16/12/2013 15:40 | Does anyone know what the expected gas price will be under the GSA? Orca who currently supply the capital is getting between $7.8 and $10.14 per mcf: THE average industrial gas price went up by 11 per cent in the second quarter of this year, while production fell by 5.0 per cent in the same period. The Orca Exploration, PanAfrica Energy's parent company, said the average gas price rose to 8.60 US dollars per standard cubic feet (Mcf) in comparison to the first quarter of 7.78 per Mcf. The Orca chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Mr W. David Lyons, attributed the increase to applying terms agreed with the largest industrial off-taker of natural gas which took effect in January this year. He added, "Together with the sales mix which resulted in two industrial customers with relatively low gas prices accounting for 61 per cent of the industrial sales volume for the quarter." However, in quarterto- quarter comparison, the largest industrial and power sectors gas supplier, said the average industrial gas price decreased by 15 per cent to 8.60 US dollars per Mcf from 10.14 per Mcf of quarter-two 2012. I assuming that the CNOP gas pipeline will reduce the gas prices and I'm using $6 /mcf If anyone has a definitive fig I would be grateful. Regards D | dalesman
