Exploration drilling commences in Q2 2014. Still a bit of a wait to do but not too long.

The December oil stock competition is now on. Deadline for entry is midnight on Sunday.

All the best!

Surprised no reaction or comment on their fund raising last week. Slightly disappointing that Bob McBean took up so little of the fund raise, but I think this is an interesting stock to watch late Q1- into Q2 next year as the Rovuma onshore drilling programme gets underway.

Terrible spread on this stock though!

Let me guess: " Still expecting to conclude a GSA shortly" (now stretched 2014, I see. Always jam tomorrow) "Great hopes for Anadarko drill."

I finally capitulated. Every false dawn produces a little less momentum. ( The market may be getting wise. ) I would be back in due course but the spread is laughable - mms don't want pain-in-the-ass pis.

Good luck all. If you don't mind tying up your money this is still a good punt.

Finally confirmation of the story I flagged up too early in post #202: ONGC and Oil India buying stakes in Area 1 offshore Mozambique.

Good to see things picking up here again. Though I don't regret getting out at .6288 on the last rise. Took a small loss but needed to clear this up as it was a short term trade gone wrong. I think one day wrl will pick up steam but I couldn't be bothered hanging around much longer when my money can be actively working in another company. May return again one day but I find the spread here very off putting

I think WRL is rather suspicious of what AEX actually found in the last Rovuma well. I think WRL consider AEX to be overprices and hence not a likely take over target. My thoughts, but WRL has more proven resources and in my view, petter prospects of finding more.

WRL rallied on the possibility that Yara may open a fertilizer plant in Mtwara.

I don't hold here but wonder if any of you have any contact with WRL and give your views on AEX being a possible target given the shared Rovuma on shore etc. and x2 small proven Gas discoveries close to the pipeline (which should be further proved up)

Especially with the way AEX share price is going? From WRL Results '' Ended the year in a strong financial position and will continue to assess
attractive opportunities to grow the asset portfolio ''

For the record I do hold AEX :-((

Explains why I couldn't find it! I should have spotted the interviewer's reference to Wentworth's Aim listing "last year". (2011)

Demand in Oslo continued strong today.
