tom111,

I don't know what in my post made you think I'm 'short' on this stock. I was just pointing out facts. I'm quite happy to hold TLPR and keep taking the dividend.

Inflation is the least of our worries. The European banks can now steal our savings just like the Greeks did. Read more about the European Stability Mechanism here. www.sustecweb.co.uk Europe's Zombie banks have to be bailed out somehow.

LOTS OF OTHER VERY INTERESTING STUFF AS WELL.

Wonder how much the strong pound is hitting earnings? Suppose all will be revealed in the late July update. I would guess it is one of the factors cooling this stock.

Share price has been significantly on the up for the last few days.

As has been well-flagged, Terry Smith is soon to leave with headhunters well on their way already to find a successor.

Now Paul Humphrey, CEO of Electronic Broking quits. This area has been a growing and has been major contributor to earnings at Tullets in recent years.

Looks to me like some big news will break soon. And, who knows, that news might be quite positive.

ALL IMO. DYOR.

After growth figures of -2.9% for the last quarter in the US Tom, interest rates will not be going up very soon I wouldn't think.

Suggestions that interest rates are going up in US in the first quarter of 2015 is helping here

Just topped up at 255.65p (including costs). Now my second largest holding.

Somebody once said to me don't confuse cheap with cheaper. Trouble is I can't make up my mind which TLPR is.FTSE still needs 6600 or so at some point as well IMHO
