Posted at 12/5/2016 08:36 by my retirement fund Looks like another good market update to me from this world leading electronic and voice interdealer brokerage firm. The share price seems extremely undervalued at first eyelash with a PE approaching 10 and dividend yield around 7%. Business is up despite the awful performance of European stockmarkets (and yes that includes the UK which is part of Europe even though it seems to pretend its part of the American plate) |

Posted at 06/11/2015 09:24 by quepassa Figures look good to me.Income and revenue significantly up, all-told. The oil desks are outstripping by far the slightly reduced volumes elsewhere. Looks like the USA is on the cusp of increasing interest rates very soon. More cost-cutting always helps the bottom line, irrespective of a one-off cost. Doesn't seem likely to me that the dividend will be reduced. Yield now approaching 6%. An award-winning service. Whilst the operating margin is expected to be down, let's be clear, revenue is 9% UP over last four months compared to 2014. And a whopping 13% HIGHER year-to-date. ALL IMO. DYOR. QP |

Posted at 28/7/2015 07:40 by quepassa Strong, strong figures from Tulletts for their 2015 half-year.-Revenue jumps from £360m to £416million ( +15%) - Underlying PBT surges by an astonishing 22.5% from ££43m to £53million - Reported PBT of £111 million versus £9m Very upbeat statement and Outlook from John Phizackerley, CEO. - Citing higher volatility in certain markets, cost-cutting measures feeding through to a significant reduction in expenses. Strong performance from Oil Desks. - Info Systems Desks doing well and have expanded. Mention that the OTC markets are more stable in volumes of business. Ambitions to become "The Company's goal is to become the world's most trusted source of liquidity in hybrid OTC markets and the best operator in global voice broking. The Company's plan is to build revenue and raise the quality and quantity of earnings through further diversification of the client base, continued expansion into Energy and commodities, and building scale in the Americas and Asia Pacific, whilst preserving the business's core franchises." Dividend of 5.6p maintained . Personally I would think there are reasonable prospects for a hike in dividend at the full year based on such strong results and a robust outlook. Very encouraging results. ALL IMO> DYOR. QP |
Posted at 21/5/2015 16:58 by quepassa Strong finish and momentum for Tulletts today. Up 1.5% to 384p.If you factor in and add back the recently paid 11.25p dividend, we are as near as dammit at 400p and at a 3 year high. Personally, I see this going significantly higher based on increasing volatility, the cost-cutting of last year feeding through to the bottom-line this year and good volumes from their oil-trading desks in North America. Looks set to continue its upwards trajectory. The current yield of 4.2% based on a very strong and reliable history of paying dividends remains highly attractive. Especially for a stock with real growth potential. ALL IMO. DYOR. QP |

Posted at 22/1/2015 15:22 by quepassa Prelims on the 3rd, March.Looking on the bright side for dividend prospects, Tullet's finance calendar now gives two concrete payment dates this year for final 2014 dividend and interim 2015. Ten days ago, Tullets hired 40 new broking staff in the USA as a result of their recent acquisistion of Murphy and Durieu. You only expand if you see a bright outlook for business prospects. The owner of M&D says:- “We are delighted to have concluded this transaction with Tullett Prebon. The Murphy & Durieu business was founded in 1929 and we believe in looking after our people. Having worked closely with Tullett Prebon over the years we know that it will offer excellent opportunities as it pushes ahead with its plans to grow in the US.” All positive news in my view. ALL IMO. DYOR. QP ps. I am hoping that Tullets does the decent thing and declares a special shareholder dividend sharing the BCG payout spoils with its equity holders. |
