From iiiAnalysts' expectations: "We expect TUI to see the benefit of favourable currency moves in the year, resulting in a 14% increase in EBIT, equating to pre-tax profit of £462 million and dividend per share of 12.9p," comments Panmure Gordon analyst Karl Burns."We expect significant cash generation in the year to result in a net -ash position of £108 million, offering scope for some return of value to shareholders albeit we think this is unlikely at this stage."He has a 'buy' rating on the stock.Valuation: TUI is trading on a 2014 EV/EBITDA multiple of 5.1 times, which Burns sees as "excellent value".

Rathrindi - Yes there others, you don't have a 100% holding. ;-)

I become aware of Tui on a Ski holiday in Feb this year, package with First Choice and flight with Thomson, staff seemed surprisingly positive about them (First Choice) and spoke well of how they treat their staff, which is slightly surprising for holiday staff who are often get a raw deal.

So, Tui have been on my radar since then. I was waiting for the right time and when John Fredriksen switched his shares to the parent creating the dip, it was great invitation, so also bought in on last dip.
Market seemed to read this as bad news for Tui on lSE, but I saw it as John Fredriksen wanting to contribute more to the group, and did it to have a bigger % voting influence.
My guess is results will be good - but will be even better in next 1 to 2 years with post recession activity.

today has been an unexpected disappointment...to put it mildly, however the above comment from Cazenove (thanks MIATA) is encouraging and a top up seems in order.
