8% increase in prophet....... 5% of that screwed from travel agents! Agents used to earn 12% on selling TUI, now only 7%! Well done TUI............. Luckily other tour operators to use, what goes around comes around!

Only an IMS and THIRD quarter statement - therefore no dividend announcement. That only comes at half and full year.

Half year dividend of 3.4p due for payment on 3 October, ex div 5 September.

Broker Numis said there were grounds for optimism after travel operator TUI travel (LON:TT.) revealed its interims today.
The company said because of the challenging economic environment it remained "cautious" but that overall, trading continued to be in line with the board's expectations.

and I absolutely agree with kibes, if anything, rising for a short-term period will be fine since it just means more money for us shorters when/if it decides to tumble!

sweating today? not really, i havnt shorted it..yet, its in my watchlist but of course the markets would be nicer to tui today, since there was so much activity yesterday, im still looking at the right timing, but with that much debt, and everything else, id much rather prefer to short at some point in the future then buy!!

Any reason why this won't go the same way as TCG in due course? Nice rise today with perhaps a bit further to go may provide an excellent shorting opportunity.
