No? I just checked and it takes you to the sign on page for entereing an MSN passport or setting one up.

You have to go through this process in order to access an MSN community.

You can set up a passport with your existing e-mail address or with a new Hotmail one

Try again and follow the instructions on the MSN front end. Any problems, give me a shout back.

Well that's now 27 of one of the best TA crews on the net now happily logged back in to a TT BB.

For those that don't know, the ethos of the TA Technical Traders BB is to have a dedicate forum for the discussion of TA. In the past, several of us have had issues in dealing with detractors on several BB's about the practise of TA.
Well we don't need the hassle, we just want to get on with developing the best trading systems for the profit of all our members.
Some novel stuff in the Trading Systems Library has been compiled in one place to be a single compendium of trading systems.

We trade anything and everything both sides of the pond.
Quite a few have forsaken the FTSE futures now and are trading the DAX profitably (more liquidity and greater trading ranges). Plenty of our members are purely US stocks only.

If you have an interest in TA and are of expert status or just plain old Support and Resistance, have something to share or are keen to know more, then drop me an e-mail at tim@ird.com.

The trading room is open from 8.00 am every morning through to the close in the US every evening, with people posting their trades in real time with the reasons why - one of the best ways to learn.

Some more out there of the old members that haven't made contact yet - so show your faces!
Any users of IRD Realtick are very welcome to join as well.

DCB, Scussy, Thanks for the feedback. My trial password has arrived, so I'm looking forward to having a proper play around with it now :-)

Scussy, I've got a note of your email address if you want to edit out from above.

Thanks,
John

JohnKemp,
I have been using the new IRD realtick since jan,it is very stable,i have only seen it down once in 3 months and that was not for long, but a lot of others went too ,so i don't think it was the software,as DBD says it is great, take a trial, but i would go for at least a month for the £100,just to see it over a few weeks,if you want any help with the charts, post here and iam sure you will get a reply, there is a favs on there, look for the MACCI one and open that, that will start you off, or mail me on cussy@btinternet.com
it's a shame that the TT bb has been pulled,so much good info on there, there is still the old TA center bb for updates but is only a read only,
another good part about IRD.COM is you can have a cool and easy to remember e-mail,i got in quick so i have steve@ird.com

The IRD real time charting software is absolutely superb. Take the free trial and find out.

All the IRD BBs seem to have disappeared. Anyone know why?

Same for me too :-(

Taimur, are you a user of the IR Dynamics software ? I have tried to find a thread discussing it, but to no avail ! If you do use the software, how do you find it reliability and functionality wise ? I have yet to take the free trial, but intend doing so after the Easter break. Any pointers to an exisiting thread would be much appreciated :-)

Taimur,

When I click on Private Boards I just get the first post by Mo (Colonel) posted on 27/10/01. The "Next" button is not active. So, I can't see any others.

Help!

Thanks.

TP,

How many can you see? You should be able to see

IR Dynamics Software Centre
General Discusion Centre
Private Bullettin Boards

TT is under the Private BBs and is read only. You can apply to post on this BB as there is a strict policy to allow everyone to read, but no muppets to post. Sensible discussion only. :-)

If you cannot see it then let me know

Taimur,

Exactly which of the BBs on ird.com are you referring to? Is it IR Dynamics Centre, Stocks and Shares Discussion or Private Bulletin Boards?

Thanks.

The Technical Trader BB at IRD has now become an open forum as of today, allowing all visitors to browse.

For those interested in TA, it is a repository of excellent research and practical theory. I know some of you here already are members. now the rest of you can share the info a well.

See you in the Chat Room.

CTM and others now looking good for a short.

There were so many shares that gapped up this morning - and you know what they say about gaps usually being closed.

Good time to be short I think.

There was a chance the ECB may have dropped their rate but as they didn't maybe a bit more selling to come.

I reiterate my very bullish stance on the markets that I made this morning.I see the Fed action as putting a floor on the downside.
There is a wall of money that has been sitting on the sidelines just waiting to be invested into the markets.
As expected the Nasdaq futures have rallied off their lows.
Its time to pick good quality stocks and fasten your seat belts.
