Any reason for the drop late today ??

I can't find one, I bought some today at just over £3.27, below the year low and plenty of long term support around this level.

I'm hoping to sell for £3.75 - £3.90 within the next six months.

Ouch! The end of the day share price change looks like severe braking on a skidpan.

Agreed LB.

I've taken full advantage of the bargain share price. More than happy with the amount I have right now. :-)

God bless market opportunity.

Happy days chaps :-)

Now is a good entry point on both fundamentals and chart.

For state ownership to happen Corbyn would have to get in, not going to happen. Also it would not be until 2020-2025. I doubt the market is worrying about this at this time.

State ownership of the railways is the bad news here for SGC
I think Sir Brian will cope with that if that ever happens
but the market hates uncertainty - we may have further falls

Scanned for news, could not see anything. NEX have taken a hammering of late so it maybe sentiment towards the sector.

Nice to know Stagecoach will be continuing to hedge future oil prices at this 'cheap' level.

Just to clarify your post, Sawadee3......

The shares go ex-dividend on 27th August(payment on 30 September) so you have to be holding on 26th August to qualify for the 7.3p per share dividend.
