I have been buying a fair few of these over the last couple of days. They look good value to me. Turnover should be over 1bln come the Jan update. I think there are a lot of Brexit woes priced in here that may not come to fruition.
A lot of cash to find a home for since TKOs for AVS and LVD :)

Nice recovery, and thanks to PP from me too.

Brief mention today re the imminent statement from Philip Hammond:

"Any further details on the apprenticeship levy due to come in force next year will be keenly watched by investors in support services groups Interserve (IRV) and Mitie (MTO), hit by a profits warning this week.

The measure applies at a rate of 0.5% on an employer’s wage bill and has been ‘particularly negative for outsourcers operating at the lower end of the value chain’, said Jory.

Others, such as temporary staff supplier Staffline (STAF) saw the levy as a positive ‘since it opens a large market’"

Thanks to PP for the interview. I certainly have a much better understanding of the business model now, a model which sets it apart from all the other listed recruitment companies. I am happy to stay long on this one for now. lots of upside to come I think.

Thanks Paul. I like the CEO and I like the company even more it looks like organic growth will be in the same region as last year which in my opinion makes this a bargain especially with a forward PE of c.7.5. Hopefully the pay off a similar amount of debt as they did last year and we can edge a step closer to a nice dividend.

Just published my interview with Staffline's CEO this week.
He struggled a bit, as was nursing a heavy cold, but hopefully it's still useful background on the company.

I hope people find it interesting.

Regards, Paul.

ali47fish - Octopus Investment nominees actually 'only' purchased 16,399 shares today, about £135,620 worth!

It took them from below 12% to a fraction over 12% (They had to notify when they passed up through the 12% level) They hold nearly 3.33 million shares.
