well I'm sure they know who the clients are so there's nothing to stop them bidding. The existing contracts don't appear to have been profitable enough so there seems little point acquiring the company just to obtain a client list.

The latest accounts filed at Companies House, which relate to Qualitycourse Limited - the name under which Transline is registered - show that it made just £919,000 in operating profit on turnover of nearly £230m.

The business could prosper under a new brand name and new management.Staf could get a whole list of new clients under their wing.In fact they could double their revenues at a stroke if they get it right!

Recruitment companies Servoca (SVCA) & Harvey Nash (HVN) issued statements today : the former 'ahead of internal expectations' and the latter 'The current financial year has started well, with performance marginally ahead of expectations.'

Should bode well for Staffline when at next months AGM they announce a trading update.

This sounds like good news for STAF? Transline, who seem to be a major competitor, (£230m turnover, Food & Beverage, Industrial and Driving divisions amongst others) is "close to insolvency"....
