97peter: Grip, I am now holding the remaining stock of 750,000 shares in STAF until they get to a 100-110p and then will offload all of them then. Until then awaiting 6 month report and LSE to start raising and the price to start ticking up again. Plus the US stimulus will percolate down to UK and EU. Plus the 4 billion pumped into re-training at Job Centre, Prisons, plus other UK projects for recruitment and training and STAF will fly come March / April. So will hold and be quiet until March.

thirty fifty twenty: the Ocado shortages will possibly be good news for STAF. i recognise that it is sad that these people doing their job are more exposed to catching covid, but in effect it means the delivery companies need to have a larger than needed warehouse/driver pool to ensure their continuous supply of goods in case one of their depots etc.. becomes a victim of covid All IMHO, DYOR + BoL STAF is in my portfolio

scubadiverr: I don't think a no deal would be harmful to STAF. Whatever happens the government needs to maximise employment and STAF can help them with that objective.

mister md: to be fair, we need smelly for a bit of balance now that smartie has gone all softie ..... remember the good 'ol days waaay back in September ? : "smartie6 - 08 Sep 2020 - 19:15:41 - 12499 of 13137 Staffline Recruitment - STAF IMHO theres more chance of calling it a day than a TO. DYOR. Everyday the other board begins to look more and more deranged."

97peter: FO smelly unless you have some facts and proper figures you uninvested de-rapper as this short drop is on small sells as there is very little in free flow, plus bad across all U.K. markets, FTSE 100 included. The vat will be paid back at about 2 mil per month and as cash flow gets better some debt will be paid down! Debt per se is affordable given current rates. That is how HRNet will buyout using cash from Singapore banks at cheap interest to buyout STAF. All companies and STAF included have debt in pension payments and are continuously improving and paying in, doesn’t help with pension investments low. Stop de-ramping as the folders, me, Jim, Kirk, Grip and John are not selling but buying and holding for long term! DYOR properly.

rainbow unicorn: In terms of Brexit, general concensus deal or not is for Sterling to roar........ Hold all high dividend cash generating units. Once Staf get past the debt hurdle and announces return to dividends see you later share price .... DYOR but

lefrene: smartie6, I remain of the view that 'covid' is a deliberate exercise to excuse the creation of $ trillions to disguise the fallout stemming from the repo-market stalling last 17th September.(predicated upon a $680 trillion derivatives market) The thing is though, what does this do for Staf? There's going to be massive unemployment, so lots of easy hires for Staf, but will the type of industry that Staf supplies also get hit in the slump? You'd think the food sector should be fairly safe, but there will be pressure to cut costs everywhere, so temporary staff will be preferred over expensive permanent.

97peter: Know nothing, you do! STAF do staff for all the Supermarkets from Tesco to aAldi for all staff jobs! Plus they do the fruit and veg pickers, DYO R and do read about Staffline via Google if you are going to make statements about what they do!
