There is also potential farm in which could bring some cash. I'm not saying they will issue new shares, but 18 months is a long way to say that they will not need to.

This board has been great, good discussions backed up by solid facts. All this talk of additional shares etc. Isn't required. SDX are in a fantastic position, it's a very exciting time for the share in terms of news, led by a good management team. GLA, been in since the low 30's and hoping for much more

We aren't. The point is that amount of our gain depends on amount of shares in issue.
Even though they have income, drilling 11 wells this year will cost something. If they want to acquire other businesses, they will need to raise capital.

No, but we know that PW is on the lookout for 'accretive deals' and if they're as good as the Circle deal, I'll happily see more shares issued if/when necessary

Some companies raise lots of money on the way the way up, which means some level of dilution will temper the (SP) growth multiples. Illustrated well by Slepy above.

For SDX my thoughts are; with production profile and cash set to increase from 28th Feb figures (4,200boepd & $18mln cash on hand) they have a warchest for acquisitions. Considering they are only likely to spend $700k on South Disouq drill plus some workovers - then spend is also likely to be limited. That should leave them with ample financial firepower to 'mop-up' attractive assets. Therefore, I do not see much dilution happening.

At the moment, I think the greatest likelihood for a deal is in NWG - Unitisation with offset operator.

1 billion mcap with 1 billion shares = £1 per share
1 billion mcap with 500mil shares = £2 per share.

With the amount of income and no debt there is no reason to think that shares in issue would be too much bigger than now.
