30/3/2017 11:48 | neo26, I suspect by the time the week is out, they will have gone through the KES shallow zone or be very close to doing so. Cash | cashandcard
30/3/2017 11:47 | ifthecapfits, I think the current strategy is working well and will continue to deliver. Whilst Circle's offshore Mahdia permit potentially hosts a couple of hundred million bbls (OIP), moving offshore is costly can really be a drag on management time and resources. Also, it will dilute the groups overall low 'onshore' cost base with higher cost offshore barrels. Having said that, if they can get a cracking deal on such an asset, why rule it out? Mahdia is host to Circle's 2014 oil discovery, estimated by Circle to be upto 100m bbls recoverable. Cash | cashandcard
30/3/2017 11:36 | They are probably very close to gas target in Abu madi section. | neo26
30/3/2017 11:18 | SDX have done a cracking deal with Circle's assets. I guess t hey didn't want the Tunisian offshore acreage? | ifthecapfits
30/3/2017 11:15 | Times running out to get in ahead of news. | someuwin
30/3/2017 08:41 | bushman1, Its a great company but drilling ops some time away. Whereas SDX is onging and results could be soon. Keep in mind results at South Disouq could be transformational for the company - they have other mapped prospects on the license which will become hot drilling candidates should results turn out as expected. There is huge potential value waiting to be outed in Egypt, let alone Morocco. Cash | cashandcard
30/3/2017 08:25 | Bushman r u on twitter | potential
30/3/2017 04:35 | Having good positions in both SDX and SAVP, any posters on this bb looking for a similar opportunity to SDX should I suggest look at SAVP in Niger. This is a company which is also well funded, has a good BoD and M/D, waiting on 3D, perhaps a farm in partner joining them shortly and about to begin a multi-well drilling campaign with a high CoS. Both companies have the potential to do well in 2017/18. This is not a ' ramp ' , please DYOR, it's purely a ' heads up ' but do spare a few minutes and read their recent RNS's plus Ops updates. | bushman1
29/3/2017 20:12 | PaulieThat's why I say take advantage now, this is going up, 2017 is a very busy year for sdx. They may even get to target depth before the 28 days. | neo26
29/3/2017 19:42 | Yeah I agree it's very exciting times. Given the small market cap this could easily be a multi nagger from here and should be based on known income alone. Volatility is frustrating sometimes, take today for instance, around 350k worth of shares traded yet down 3.5%. | pauliewonder
29/3/2017 18:47 | PaulieI am very bullish for two reasons on Sd-1 well, first reason after positive 3d data results back in oct we were approached by large local players to farm into project, we didn't ask for this. The second reason was that the Egyptian oil and gas website stated that they have found huge reserves in the Mahala city, the resource may be the same quantity of the zohr field, considering we have done 3d survey near their and are only 5-10km away we surely might be tapping into that field. It bodes really well.Volume was low today yet share price fell, we have traders trading this, this will eventually blow.In Morocco we are producing only 4.5 mmcfd of gas yet we are making $13m free cash flow per annum, board expects to double production by year end, $26m tell me which other aim oilie got this much margins in gas... | neo26
29/3/2017 17:01 | Agree Neo. Cant believe how good the Circle acquisition was. $31m cash flow this year (was going to be $9m)and $41m next year (was $13m). Thats an additional $50m cashflow in the next two years over what they were going to have, and were only valued at £90m. If SD comes in with either oil or gas (hopefully oil or both) then the share price will be blown away and we will never see these levels again. Worth the risk, given that its a free carry! | pauliewonder
29/3/2017 16:21 | lots of small sales going through probably chasing rainbows lol | tom111
29/3/2017 14:48 | mm's may play some games to shake the weak the next few days if you have spare cash take the opportunity. Even without SD 1 well the company is cheap, free cashflow after all drilling expenses is 31m this year, on top of 18m cash in bank and 16m receivables. by the end of year we could have $65m cash just by the current assets and no debt. so it is cheap. hold on... | neo26
29/3/2017 08:51 | Buys increasing .... | potential
28/3/2017 16:27 | Bought a few more earlier on. Will be getting close to initial targets after the weekend. Cash | cashandcard
28/3/2017 13:13 | They will shake the weak holders out. | neo26
28/3/2017 12:37 | Top up folks!!! | potential
28/3/2017 11:53 | Yes buy dips seems to be a Odd day of drop, tomorrow could back to 50 + bid on the open | eye2
28/3/2017 09:59 | Have done. | deltrotter
28/3/2017 09:46 | Buy the dips - imo. | someuwin
28/3/2017 08:24 | Yup, insignificant, but still adds to the excitement. They said this in the Spud announcement: “We look forward to providing updates over the course of the campaign." So possibly something by middle of next week.... | deltrotter
28/3/2017 08:04 | Surely a couple of days here/there is insignificant in the scheme of things? | plentymorefish
28/3/2017 08:00 | In South Disouq the 3D seismic acquisition was completed ahead of schedule and under budget. Processing and interpretation has also been completed and has identified potential for both oil and gas bearing prospects with strong Class III amplitude versus offset (AVO) responses observed in several prospects. Well planning and selection of drilling location was completed as planned and the well operations commenced on March 20, 2017. Enquiries have also been received from a number of operators regarding farming into the licence; and_------------This from results, 20 march... | neo26 |
