No sell off has always been my way of thinking carrbrad, if sirius are working to a time frame here then i look forward to hearing some further news as we lead upto the 6th because surely this cpr date has got to count for something as they would have known about the 6 month timeframe when they released it

Does anyone think todays news keeps us in line with possible news by 6th march. If it now looks like we could be a producer rather then a sell off afer the need for a equipment in todays rns, if this cpr does run out on 6th march then surely we need some news fairly soon if this share is to be suspended pending ad/rto. If this was being sold off then why the need for the cash call to fund equipment?

vatnabrekk... The FTSA, ie the farm in agreement, states that it was part of SRSP's remit to develop the field. This would eventually culminate in them ending up as a 'producer' as opposed to an 'Investor'.....hence an AD change that would require shareholder approval followed by a suspension and re-admittance.

Pardon my ignorance, but would it not be possible for either Guarantee or Owena to become the operator, with Sirius holding 40% investment, thereby avoiding the need for Sirius to change its status from investor to producer? Also then presumably no need for a RTO?

Clue to strategy is at the beginning of the above, with field/block linked together.
But will Sirius continue to exist as a minnow independent producer in league with a host of monster names (Schlumberger/COSL .. field + Chevron/NNPC ... block) in O&G world?

AD/producer or t/o. Win/win. All rests on the size of the assets. The constant can-kicking is simply an aid to the select group of bootfillers who continue to accumulate on the cheap, and using opps to trade a few confident that the big news revelation isn't going tba whilst they are playing out their games.

My question is who is making these grand pre-drilling decisions when nobody among the 3 current BoD members has any O&G field experience whatsoever. That suggests someone else has adopted responsibility, hinting at a brand new enterprise NewCo. being formed, to which ispm lead co-ordinator Schlumberger is answerable.
