10/8/2016 13:35 | According to Mr Paxman it's 10 points for Starter Questions and 5 points each for Bonus questions! Answers 1. they did my manboobs in about 10 mins! 2. they need repeating every 4 years. On a more serious note. Having read an article in I think it was the Mail on 'Bumlifts'? Can silhouette be used, or is there potential for it to be used on other body bits? | eggbaconandbubble

27/7/2016 13:40 | egg, it relates to the brokers coverage and distribution thereof. Stifel note; in summary it's the US launch of Silhouette Instalift where they expect to see growth, hence my earlier question on Silhouette. Researching the Silhouette service/product it’s clear where it sits within the overall athletics market, it looks to be well received too. The downside is getting physicians trained across the US, they do have somewhat of a head-start in Q15 where Sinclair undertook pre-launch training. Progress seems to be reasonably rapid, as of May 16 – 75 physicians trained up to 120 as of trading update. This is going to be costly of course but margins are good and if it takes off you could see a strong revision in forward sales. Personally, I have no experience of this sort of market but can see the attraction and USP’s. Assigning licensing and distribution/marketi Focus has been on Silhouette as this could be a real growth driver, that said the other divisions/products show promise too. ..just my musings, pdyor | shroder

21/7/2016 16:48 | Soundbuy, accurate ramblings imo, Tosca would want a return by whatever means. Perhaps the sale is part of a longer term strategy in this regard, making it a better fit in the aesthetics market. Just received the Stifel note, very upbeat, TP 49p ___ Tosca, followed these guys for quite a while now, most recently due to their large stake in rhythm one (formerly blinkx). They are a shrewd bunch staffed mainly by academics, analytical types as opposed to the traditional fund manager set up. Earlier this year they bought out one of the companies I was invested in, Internet Q, not too dissimilar from rhythm one. | shroder
21/7/2016 09:00 | Shroder Only my opinion - reckon that Martin Hughes was very much behind the 'up for sale' banner being raised over SPH, with such a strategic stake (and history). Disposals to APH has left SPH 'leaner' and more focussed going fwd yet personally reckon they were hoping for a full sale of all assets. With the Sp once again languishing at these levels and a much reduced product portfolio I just wonder if this is where Tosca had expected the Co. to be 18 months down the line........... Just personal ramblings note........ Edit: Any reason for monitoring Tosca? | soundbuy
20/7/2016 11:38 | Soundbuy, could you elaborate further - "Toscafund still holding 29.5% (Feb 2016), they'll be getting twitchy though after an historic effort to offload assets .......zzzzzzzzzzz" Below spreadsheet is something myself and two other investors cobbled together detailing Tosca's holdings. It's a little out of date now but gives an indication of what's what - errors and omissions accepted. | shroder
20/7/2016 08:38 | Well, a seller about by the price action yesterday, Abingworth?? Current Mkt Cap doesn't rule out a MBO IMO Toscafund still holding 29.5% (Feb 2016), they'll be getting twitchy though after an historic effort to offload assets .......zzzzzzzzzzz | soundbuy
