Caterpillar and the Mining Sector is existing, contracted Business.
Automotive, Air, Rail and others are Sector's the Business is pursuing in multiple Country/Regional Markets, exploiting the core Technology but adapting it for the nuances of the Products OEMs produce in those Sectors and Product Customers operate in the various, far-reaching Markets.
Existing Business is precisely that and you'll most likely see/hear most about it via Financial updates.
New Business is entirely different - securing strategic Partners is key to success, before any Revenue earning Contracts will get agreed. Eventually, hopefully, we'll see announcements like the old, historical Caterpillar ones that inform us of real progress and business Benefits forecasts

AUTOLIV is a major player in Automotive ADAS - FACT !!
When DMS via FOVIO is incorporated into actual Production Vehicle ADAS Tech, some of which is going to be driven by Country/Market/Regional Legislation, we'll be earning serious Returns in the mass Production Sector

They could announce they'd cured cancer and this still wouldn't move. Until the selling overhang is cleared, this is stuck here unfortunately. However, good chance to buy in at these prices because once that overhang clears, this will rocket.

Interesting indeed. Time will tell as to whether SEE can at last fulfil its obvious potential. A great piece of news though.

Would love to know the details. Do Autoliv already have customers lined up?

I mean, ffs, SEE and Autoliv have been working on various versions of DMS for bloody years..they must surely by know have developed a working system that performs

Seeing Machines and Autoliv Work Together to Deliver Driver Monitoring Systems

Seeing Machines (AIM: SEE), an industry leader in computer vision based technologies which enable machines to see, understand and assist people, announces that it will work in collaboration with Autoliv, a leader in Automotive Safety Systems, to deliver next generation Driver Monitoring Systems (DMS) for autonomous vehicles.

The collaboration leverages Seeing Machines' market leading DMS technology based on its FOVIO platform and processor to enhance Autoliv's existing Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) offering through awareness of the driver attention state and other key safety indicators, such as distraction or drowsiness. Reliable understanding of driver state will also enable Autoliv development of highly autonomous driving functions, with safe hands-off-wheel operation. Within the collaboration, Autoliv will serve as a Tier 1 integrator of Seeing Machines technology, and overall system supplier to OEMs.

Looking at historical data the average volume was around 0.5m shares/day before the shenanigans of this week. If those were mostly buys and the shares only went to private investors then it'd take around 2 years!

If HH really wanted to sell up then they'd negotiate a substantially lower price with another institution rather than drip feeding them.

But until this overhang clears it puts a dampener on SEE raising any more money from the market.
