The FT. report that Hollande is apparently is about to visit China and the signals are that the red carpet will be rolled out. Britain on the otherhand is viewed by China as a pariah state since Cameron met with the Dalai Lama last year. How typically British that irrespective of the economic consequences Britain should put human rights ahead of international trade.
