BB; "I might be wittering on a bit here, but it's important that clients be pointed at data like this so the argument that "I eat loads of tomatoes and tomato products, what's the point of Fruitflow ? " can be put into context. "

Yes you are wittering, just a bit. Active fractions are easily obtainable with 2 or 3 tomatoes. Remember the TE argument? it hasn't been "put in to context", rather it's been ducked.

From the article, soup has low'ish amounts of fractionates, so it's unreasonable to compare. Even tomato sauce did significantly better than the soup (*). Bit naughty of the authors if you ask me but it spreads the message, so no bad thing.

The review also states "Tomatoes contain several known and unknown compounds that might affect platelet function, lipid metabolism, blood pressure and endothelial function, important determinants of CVD [5, 39]"

* WSTC has F1 (nucleosides), F2 (phenols) and F3 (flavenoids). There's no data apparent to show which fraction has most effect. Soup vs Sauce ... sauce beats soup with F1 and F3 but has less F2.

My conclusion? Eat more salad and take WSTC as well. Favour spanish and chilean toms over UK grown. The soup argument is BS. Oh and I'll be buying some more shares ...

GL :)

Courtesy of gixer, an absolutely brilliant review article of where we're at.

I particularly like the references to CVD primary prevention. There's nothing new for those of us who have followed WSTC over the years but it clearly shows the direction we're heading ... medical and pharmaceutical spin offs plus neutraceutical if that rocks your boat.

ohsodit; nice name :)
£3.00 per month (albeit for the old capsules) is bloody brilliant. They'll soon run out though and IIRC those capsules are fairly big.

re wheeliebin. You refer to general info. that has been out there for a long time. The result of the Resveratrol:WSTC trial would be great if it were positive. TBH I don't think it will be, not because it might not work (who knows yet?) but simply because 20 volunteers in each of 4 arms are insufficient to statistically prove an effect unless it is absolutely massive. We'll see. Whoever did the power analysis on this one deserves to be shot.

"Each Fruitflow®+ Omega-3 capsule contains 150mg of Fruitflow®, and 250mg of the purest Omega-3 to help boost DHA/EPA levels. Taken daily, Omega-3 works by altering the balance of fats that circulate in the blood, which are used for incorporation into blood cells. A healthy balance of Omega-3/6 fats in blood cells is reported to slow down formation of fatty plaques in the arteries, helping to maintain normal heart function."

From todays news;- and try to be happy as this is all good for us.

"Fruitflow®+ Omega-3 offers the first 100% natural, safe, scientifically proven solution for healthy blood flow and cardiovascular health. It can be used in primary prevention for healthy adults who understand the dangers of CVD and who want to take control of their diet and lifestyle to maintain cardiovascular health."

"Initially the benefits of each Fruitflow®+ Omega-3 capsule will last 12-18 hours, but with continued daily use the capsules will provide 24 hour protection."

Good news with the launch of our new Fruiflow + Omega 3 product on our own website and update on finances being covered with our chairman putting in a few bob.
All goes to show DSM is happy to allow us to use their world renowned Omega 3 with our Fruitflow and our chairman and DSM are confident in market expectations.

The news today:-

"The non-legally binding indications of interest in the subscription include the indication of a £25,000 interest in the subscription from the Company's Chairman Dawson Buck."

"Prior to his non-legally binding indication of interest in the proposed subscription announced today, Mr Buck was interested in 15,000,000 Ordinary Shares as confirmed by the Company in an announcement on 7 January 2016, which amounts to approximately 0.91 per cent of the current issued share capital of the Company."

£240K or so, = 100M shares @ 0.24p = 6% dilution.

We've seen nowhere near this volume traded so HNWIs might be the purchaser?

edit; thanks RP. Message to self ... read the bloody RNS properly.:)
£160K @ 0.24p per share = 67M shares = 4% dilution.

TW is suggesting less, so let's wait and see if we get confirmation.

I have just read one of the most misleading and uninformed posts on pxs yet over on the red channel.Poster in question has used the 140% GBP growth in revenue from FY 2015 to 2016 as a basis for looking forward at future revenues.

He has omitted to highlight that FY 2015 figures are not a valid comparison as they had only x 3 months of revenue included in them from the new revenue sharing formula announced last year.Clearly the 2016 figures are going to be much higher as they include x 12 months revenues under the enhanced terms.

And all this from a poster who has claimed to be in business for many years:-)

Dear oh dear me.Now you can see why despite a continually falling share price of last 6 years he still feels positive!!!

Talking about spinning the facts to try and make yourself feel better!

Evening LibraG - the weather is incredible just now although set to break next week.

Would be good to meet up if you are over.Let me know of your intended itinerary dates and see what we can do.Plenty to see here in a short space of time...actually if you get half decent weather I can recommend a few places that will more than make your trip:-)

Keep me posted.

Hi RP; You're in NI? Was thinking of a trip after my sons' exams are finished (again, sigh). What could be better than a road trip on my new toy? For toy, read motorbike, for motorbike read armchair on wheels. My OH has friends in Galway and Kilkenny but hates the bike .. can't think why, it couldn't possibly be the rider. :)

She'll fly:drive but at least we can drown our sorrows in a Guinness or two.

Evening LibraG - I understand your enthusiasm for the potential of the r&d and whilst I hope that the end is not nigh I would urge some caution before parting with more of your hard earned here.I realise that you are aware of the risks but further monies "invested" here should be money that you can and are willing to lose.

Yes indeed you are correct in your guess of the poster I was referring to.He has spent most of the day attacking those who have described the situation in more candid terms and you almost suspect he has convinced hmself that this is all going perfectly in line with some masterplan!!!
Contrast that with the blue channel which since the announcement has been devoid of commentary from the happy clappers:-)

No doubt we will hear more about our growing list of products by the w/e - in case anyone had forgotten about them - I think the poster who pointed out that at present rate we would need approx. 300 such products to breakeven.Perhaps that was the squib that created the silence..you can almost hear President Kim Jon's brain working out a mathematical formula that will dispute this.

Dear oh dear me.
