SS - i agree. The fact that he did so was factored into my decision to purchase this am.

Still believe that if and when this starts to look more promising ie large deals we will see an attempt to t/o our interests/shares.

I would not completely rule out an attempt to take it private either.Unlikely but not to be fully discounted imho.

RP, agree, but he also has an average price much higher than current share price due to last purchase, he must need over 2p to break even (can't be bothered to check exact amount). In that position I would be looking for some assurances before putting my hand in my pocket again. Gives a little confidence to hold IMO.

SS - pure conjecture here but he was probably told that in the event this goes South DSM would be likely to pay x for our shares.Assuming that x was more than the placing price it was a no brainer.

From Provexis website:-

"Preliminary Results September 2016"
I would guess based on last year the results will be out in the second week of September.
We should then get a clearer picture of market expectations.
And we should all have something to discuss then.

I've been two or three hours ahead of GMT for a fair part of the summer, but we're in the UK for a week or so now !

RP

No problem. I remember MichaelPortfolio once saying he was spending a couple of hours a day researching all things Provexis and FF related. I think with some, it's turned into a hobby rather than something financial

BB - appreciate your points.

My interest here is simply financial - i wish to minimise further risk to us getting sold out before FF's true commercial worth has been reflected in our share price

It is only personal for me in the money i have invested and the total mismanagement
and reckless regard for shareholder interests displayed over the years.

There are a fair few investors with material sums in here and i have been trying to appeal to as many as possible.

LibraG - looking forward to meeting you as well.

I don't know if I'm typical or not, but Provexis is my smallest shareholding. Even if I looked at the cost of those shares rather than the current value, I think they'd still be in the bottom 10%.

No-one sets out to lose money on the markets, but it happens sometimes so I think most investors just accept that fact, take disappointments on the chin and move on. I doubt the paper loss you're sat on is material to you, but the situation has got under your skin to the point where it's personal now, but most people won't feel so strongly.

The people who are most likely to support you are probably sat on large losses, and have been diluted to the point where their holdings are now tiny, which is where I was coming from on contacting bigger holdings.

I've had run ins with Hammer in the past, but he's basically sound. As you know, he's also quite well connected, so if you've got contact details for him then it would no harm to have a chat with him to see what he thinks about the situation. The day of the AGM is probably too late tbh.

McKeeve can be contacted via

by the way

As you say, you're just a single PI, and he'd probably ignore you or tell you to get lost, but if you don't ask ...

Hi RP; looking forward to meeting up.

re. 5% of 1.65B shares ...
edit: oops out by a factor of 10. :( should read 82.5M of which I've got the princely amount of 3.5M
Might be 10 to 20 interested parties?
Admittedly it would be like herding cats ... but frankly I'll be happy to push more money at this, simply because of the R&D potential.

FYI, £10K = 2.2M shares at today's prices. A small group with a modicum of common sense should suffice. Best would be an agreement in principle before the AGM. Thoughts?

Reasonable points BB - i know Hammer personally so speaking with him is easy.RJM is the Scottish lawyer you are referring to..have no idea how i would contact him tbh.

In all honesty i doubt that RSGF are going to be interested in speaking with a solitary shareholder. Not knocking the idea just dont think there is any real mileage in it at the moment anyway.

Frankly i do not see how anyone with substantial sums in this would not be prioritising turning up - if they cant be bothered to do that then...

My reasons have been explained many times before.

I do agree with you re Dragon .. he imo is deliberately trying to move focus away from my rationale.

In all honesty if we do get taken out "early" it is no more than many shareholders deserve given their apathy to pxs.

Cheers anyway.

Have you tried contacting whoever looks after Rising Stars Growth Fund or the lawyer whose name escapes me ( Raymond somebody ? ) to see if you have any common ground.

Try contacting Hammer as well. I wouldn't be surprised if he ( or his family / friends ) supported the placing.

You're wasting your breath conversing with the likes of Dragon though. Arguing wuth him just turns people off your message. I don't agree with your argument on exclusivity, but the only way to put it to the board / DSM which will make them listen is if you have at least 5% of the shares in agreement with you.

I can't honestly wizh you good luck with it, but I'm sure you're doing it for the right reasons.

LibraG - date for agm is 30.09.2016 likely to be London.

BB - re exclusivity:

~wellaware it would be of more benefit in short term only esp if offered on ltd time basis - that is the whole point BB , to buy us some time!!
~i am also only too aware that i need some shareholder support - i am asking repeatedly for it on iii.Surely i am not only person who sees the urgency of our situation.
~not much else i can do in all honesty.

Worst case is i can say i tried which is more than 99.9% of the rest.

LibraG - see you there.

Hi Bernie, we all know precisely how to be wrong and repeat the trick too often. :)

I've been to only one AGM, years ago and the best I got out of it was meeting others.
GKB was like a dose of herpes at the time but even that nom de plume was welcomed, albeit with raised eyebrows.

Sussed out a few characters and built a bridge or two. From memory there was a silent, scruffy belligerent on the back row who hardly said two words (not me, I was sat next to him) to anyone. There was that certain look in his eyes I've seen before, usually just before the drug round. I wonder if Dr. A Goon did turn up to a meeting after all?

Many a true word.

RP;
Please ... do not engage with the goon. He's either a troll or a paid disruptor. I'm shocked that others such as gixer, whatever happened to Asshair?, and the usual lemmings aren't making it clear that they will go.

This year I plan to attend. Can't find date/time/venue though. Do you know?

Bernie: what were you doing up so late? A level results yesterday and associated partying have delayed my start today. :(

I agree re FF+ sales, but we don't really know how much has been sold so far; just a few order numbers from a few punters.

Unfortunately the memory trial is IMO (and happy to be proven wrong) very unlikely to be positive. Not necessarily because FF:Resveratrol has no effect but because of lack of participant numbers.

The blood pressure work, again just IMO, is far more interesting as you say but I wonder which of the two, will ultimately be more useful? A small clinical trial or a boring lab-based investigation of likely mechanisms of action?

The latter peaks my interest but I suspect the former will grab the headlines.

Bah humbug, back to NIPT and finally making some serious money ... let's hope PXS does likewise.

Given the number of orders they've had it's hard to see anything to get massively excited about on the FF+ sales. They appear to be doing at least as well as could expected, if not a better than that, and I'm sure the board will make positive noises, but it seems unlikely to be share price moving stuff.

The second BP trial, and even the memory related one or more likely candidates for news which is actually interesting.

As far as the share price move goes, it feels a tad manipulated with quite a few AT trades ?

Time will tell

Bernie; think I'll look for another fence.
Wouldn't it be nice if trial results are positive? Just a thought and holding tight.
