Kensico bought another 220000, now holding over 10%

Warm and sunny at the seaside but blowing a hooley :-)

That's a weird RNS showing FIL selling 190,000 @ 175p yesterday. They still hold nearly 15 million.

And another showing Kensico buying 220,000 @ 175.45p and now they're holding 28 million

Fun and games ;-)

Well the NT trades this week seem to have all been by US hedge fund Kensico.

All very interesting ....four days to find out the big plan ;-)

Maloney.i agree entirely with you.it would seem incredible to think that stainhoff having spent £130 million on their stake will throw the towel in but strange things do happen.we are all hoping logic prevails.

Could they be buying on behalf of another bidder waiting to pounce? The same way Stainhoff came in to the bid for Home retail Grp.

they probably are fairly certain that they will get at least 205 within a week.

If they don't bid within the time limit they have to walk away for 6 months, unless somebody else bids and then they can step back into the ring.
unless they have changed,those were the takeover rules back in the day.

Wake up BOD and let us know what is happening. The share price is getting shafted. Shouldnt you have accepted the first offer, unless it was a very low one. What are you going to accept now, with the Sp where it is at the moment ??

aim , I think the deal was tuesday. Hopefully they think they can make a quick 10%.

Steinhoff could easily make a 205p+ 'take it or leave it' offer now and I think they`d walk away with PLND.

Wonder why kensico bought 100,000 yesterday.... They already hold 10%
