Good results from Techfinancials today (TECH).

Israel based binary options technology company so a mini PLUS or a possible target for PLUS?

Just speculating but worth a look imho.

Certainly seems so. Surprising since Friday afternoon usually lacklustre.
Good momentum, nearly a million traded so far.

It seems to me that there a number of Israeli tech companies and they have a lower rating than one might expect The rating here remains low given the cash generated

Very large buy trade today at 1207. This is going North IMO ahead of x Div. Business stabilising with high cash flow not reflected in p/e = rerating coming

Back to 740p again - so much for the doom and gloom merchant.

You lot must be concerned that the price hasnt gone up after those figures. Must be frustrating but that nagging feeling about the speculation all is not right must be getting at you now the stock doesnt react to good news

Lydnem - Perhaps, but if you look at the chart above from November of last year there are two very similar spikes/troughs and then it takes off again. Maybe the pattern will repeat itself.

Rises to 750p-ish, then profit takers drop it back to around 700p, then back up again; only this time if you buy before 15 September, you get the declared dividend too, worth around 17p. off of the current offer price. So, a good time to buy, IMHO.

xj - volatility

High in Q1 and low in Q2 until mid/late June when Brexit volatility kicked in especially in currency markets.

Can anyone explain its revenue trend 2016 Q1 85.2m, Q2 73.6m ?

Good that they expense new customer acquisition bonuses in full (I suppose they have to) but has skewed results given that most of the Q2 new customers came in late June when Brexit volatility kicked in.

This can be seen in the notes to the accounts with customer deposits increasing from $47m at 31 Dec 15 to $84m at 30 Jun 16 and some of this will be customer bonuses that are hard to earn given the volume of trades needed.

Analyst meeting later and I think they will be comfortable with progress - we shall find out later today I assume! Volume relatively low at circa 100k (0.75m) traded in first hour of results day so I assume the big boys not currently active.

H1 margins were lower for the reasons they mention.Thinks they will recover strongly in H2 and beyond.

Trading at around 10x this years forecast earning and giving a decent divi yield of 6.8%.Hard to find anything cheaper with similiar momentum.

I note the comment in the outlook section about margins will be lower than 2015 ( higher than expected new customers incurring upfront on boarding costs) partially mitigated by increases in revenues Perhaps it is this?
