16/6/2010 11:56 | Perhaps it's not a problem with Harpin, but simply a reflection of relatively high global grain stocks. Farmers may not see the point of boosting yields when grain prices are relatively low. | bobdouthwaite
16/6/2010 11:48 | This really quashes the CEO's 2009 report and our take on things. In 2009 he said amongs other things about Harpin: (from memory Monsanto had taken enough for 10 Mill acres) The 2009 Harpin purchases by Monsanto are to support their roll-out of Roundup Ready 2 Yield soybeans for 2010 planting in North America. Soybeans were planted on 76 million acres in North America this year, according to the United States Department of Agriculture, and consequently there is significant growth potential for use on this crop in North America alone. We are also working closely with Monsanto towards rolling-out Harpin in other markets and on the other crops covered by their contract over the next few years. Sounds like the market does not like Harpin then. Monsanto have 50% over stock for 2010. To boot clearly other channels never opened up. We could be looking at sub £1, this may join the ranks of the penny shares of other like AIM listed plant care manufacturers. However clearly one of the only ones thats actualy made significant progress......but that said is this a product thing, maybe farmers simply dont like the product??? | envirovision
16/6/2010 11:32 | Explains the excessive fall recently, how foolish of me to have thought there was a prefectly reasonable explanation for it. Clearly there were people closer to the company privy to the information who were able to dump weeks ago. | envirovision
16/6/2010 11:31 | luckily i got out near the peak at 270p. At the time i thought these would be bid for.. Had a few futergene at the end which did well... pin are weak again... Strange sector ... imho | targatarga
16/6/2010 11:28 | Yes thats taken away a bag full of confidence for sure, certainly wont justify a premium now, you could be right, i'm out. | envirovision
16/6/2010 11:24 | not good.... will probably fall further .... | targatarga
14/6/2010 14:53 | moving on, buying back ip rights for Myconate leaves the company free to pursue other deals for Myconate. Seemed a very positive step imo. | envirovision
14/6/2010 13:38 | Stale bulls. Was hoping it would fall sub 1.80 for a bit, but does not look like it so have taken plunge back in with a 2500 buy this afternoon. | envirovision

10/5/2010 10:44 | Myconate is in the news again. Could it be that the IP agreement with Bayer (RNS 26 April) has unlocked some initiatives? Maybe there are more in the pipeline. | mdrans1
03/3/2010 17:01 | A tip from IC is just about as good of a sell signal as you can get. | koolio

16/2/2010 20:45 | Last post, cause i fink im going mad erm talking to merself. RNS Number : 2043H Plant Health Care PLC 16 February 2010 Health Care plc ("the Company") Dual Listing on Channel Islands Stock Exchange............ Albert Fischer, Chairman, commented: "Importantly, it will also bring the Company within the governance of the UK Takeover Panel." Now my take on this is that its good long term protection as it will stop a couple of fund managers and a couple of sharks getting together and taking out the company for something stupid like 2.50 or 3.00. I wouldn't like to put a value on things but im sure its well north of 100% current shareprice. So todays news is a good safe guard for the future for us IMO. | envirovision
16/2/2010 16:32 | So apart from small army of savvy fund managers and institutions holding Plant Health, am I the only retail investors about? | envirovision
15/2/2010 10:20 | Only one wat this is heading now. £3 short term would be ok imo. | envirovision
15/2/2010 07:56 | RNS Results out | envirovision |
