16/3/2017 13:05 | Nurdin is that just wild speculation?:-D | bluebottle1
16/3/2017 08:57 | 460p close? I occasionally get these funny feelings..:o) | nurdin
15/3/2017 21:01 | It has been a very long time for a 10% up day for PAYS. Thoroughly desereves this very soon with news after the take off from the runway....due soon. Looking at the P/e for PAY you wonder where PAYS will be in a year given similar valuation and accretive growth and some of the new apps taking good uptake. Trumps policy and various states in USA passing online gambling legislations this year will boost income as PAYS is well positioned to fill that need and slot. £7 by year end is a good possibilty. | scothernman
15/3/2017 18:15 | I sense news is coming....and soon | wolfhound1
15/3/2017 16:37 | onwards to £5 | qs99
15/3/2017 16:34 | Bye bye 440s ? | scothernman
15/3/2017 16:25 | Good consolidation. Onwards! | ch1rp
15/3/2017 14:55 | Scoth - I hear ya, PAYS is just one of theose stocks that is packed fullof promise - patience will be rewarded here for sure !! GLA | wolfhound1
15/3/2017 14:50 | Edison note just out summary from note :- Paysafe continues to trade at a significant discount to peers: the company is trading at a c 30% discount on an FY17e EV/EBITDA basis and a more than 40% discount on an FY17e P/E basis. While some discount is warranted to reflect the potential risk within the Asia Gateway business, in our view this discount is excessive. Continued revenue growth, steady cash generation and a gradual reduction in the relative contribution of the company’s largest merchant should help reduce this discount. The company continues to include M&A in its near-term plans, and in our view the company has substantial headroom to fund suitable acquisitions. | 100laila
15/3/2017 14:31 | AEK were 3.13% short PAYS last OCT so slowly closing PAYSAFE GROUP PLC 2.26% 2017-03-13 PAYSAFE GROUP PLC 2.61% 2016-12-21 PAYSAFE GROUP PLC 2.88% 2016-12-19 PAYSAFE GROUP PLC 3.13% 2016-10-07 | malcolmmm
15/3/2017 14:14 | Wolf I respect your views here as you know a lot more of PAYS along with likes of eh9 nurdin et al. I sold part of my pays yesterday when it was not moving and saw PMO plunge 10% for no reason. Stoploss being taken out. Had made a good short term profit from 401p after results with PAYS. Bought PMO at 53p and sold today when it hit 59p. Know it went up further ...have no regrets.I stick with my target. PMO very risky to hold long term with heavy debts... my take. Back fully in PAYS now paying 1p more to get in. I follow 15 stocks for short term holding and at times you get golden opportunity like this.....of course the oil price reversing helped PMO today. | scothernman
15/3/2017 13:01 | no worries scotherman - sounds like you have been doing just fine for a small fish in the markets with the 40% p.a. return. well done !! ;) give yourself a pat on the back - HF usually only manage to achieve 12% p.a. on average across the industry in a good yr - of course there were funds like Paulson that made 536%+ return in 2009 - but that is rare. | wolfhound1
15/3/2017 12:23 | AEK starting to close their short position is huge imo, the rest of them hopefully will follow | malcolmmm
15/3/2017 12:15 | Wolf I was just making an observation as a small time investor who has no intricate knowledge of how shorts and hedge funds really work or bend rules.I go on fundamentals and play long term and short term to increase my investments by 40% average every year so far.Apologies if my earlier reply appeared as if questioning your observation. You have given a nice explanation previously about various ways the shorts hedge. Some of it went above my head as i cant understand them playing long and short at the same time. Hence i call myself a small fish...happy as long as i can make a share of profit steadily. | scothernman
15/3/2017 11:36 | Blue finish! | ch1rp
15/3/2017 09:57 | EH9 - yep,0.45x484mn shares= 2.178mn shares approx and assume a share price of about 447p =£10mn give or take a few quid. Scotherman - I don't follow - are you saying that they didn't reduce the reported short on the 13th ( or 8th in reality) at or around the 445-450p mark ? Nothing in my post mentions what they did or didn't earn on trade. That is entirely another issue relative to the reduction in the reported shorts, who is to say if it was a naked short, they may have been long somewhere else and this was part of a wider strategy - we simply don't know - which is why I didn't speculate re trade profitability in my post. Who knows if AEK even drink coffee....lol | wolfhound1
15/3/2017 09:56 | They will only carry on with buyback as long as necessary. I'm sure they didn't want to use all the cash. It was only a warchest. | pshevlin
15/3/2017 09:52 | Shorts closing - bid coming soon. | ricksen
15/3/2017 09:35 | Yes very positive I agree. It begs the question, however, as to whether the company should continue with their buy back program or not now. | nurdin
15/3/2017 09:31 | Deos not make financial sense wolf if AEK are covering with £10m OTC trade at this price level as they have not gained much for holding short for over 6 months. That is considering they were going short last sept october at this price range. All this will make a jolly good coffee break reading and smiling for aek folks if anyone there is looking at this board. Same goes for PAYS big boys......us small fish pondering. | scothernman
15/3/2017 09:24 | Do the otc numbers tally with the0.45% reduction? In any case it is a very positive signal for longs | eh9
15/3/2017 09:12 | The reduction in the reported short is probably connected to the large £10mn OTC buy noted on the 8th. | wolfhound1
15/3/2017 08:39 | Onwards and upwards! | ch1rp
15/3/2017 08:10 | It's the signal buyers were waiting for though many like me will not have seen it last night | eh9
15/3/2017 05:49 | I missed the short reduction yesterday - yes that is huge news and hugely positive that they are finally reducing | eh9 |
