19/1/2022 10:14 | Expect the expectations re Talitha flow testing will be set very low, which would increase the chances of being able to release a "better than expected" RNS for a flow rate that may otherwise be negatively received. I've always thought the initial BFF test would be really up against it to impress the market and hopefully this strategy would help address that. | johnswan193
19/1/2022 10:07 | In regards the flow rates, one needs to understand that the Prudhoe Bay wells were/are large producers, they aren't small producing wells. Very interested to hear the details on expected flow rates at the upcoming AGM which is just a few trading days away. Quite surprised we have not seen much greater speculation coming in, in advance of this. | the count of monte_cristo
19/1/2022 10:00 | NGMS I’ve no idea why you hold any at all here. | winner66
19/1/2022 09:48 | Encouraging trades today, not sure the monkey is off our back just yet, maybe he's just having a cuppa! | seejayem
19/1/2022 09:41 | Thanks forwood, I held ADV through the drill based on the COS so a painful lesson. Luckily it wasn't too big of a position around 2% portfolio size. It does highlight though how management can easily talk the talk and fail. Regarding PANR I've become more sceptical as time passes. The euphoria of the webcast has well and truly worn off so I de-risked in advance of management doing the same. | ngms27
19/1/2022 09:34 | Dhb, that's very big ouch for ADV holders, and you were very fortunate. A salutary lesson and shows the risks involved. This quote from interim results yesterday may appeal to NGMS: 'While we believe there is a strong likelihood that the Buffalo-10 well will confirm an economic development project, with an independently verified chance of success of 86%....' | forwood
19/1/2022 08:55 | A bigger favour than you think forwood.I sold ADV yesterday (down 80% today) to take advantage of the low share price and generally de-risk (IMHO) my portfolio. | dhb368
19/1/2022 08:49 | Probably done some a favour by keeping the price low! However, Scot can no longer say that not one of the board has ever cashed in their shares. I note also the cost of these options is almost £7.25m. A cheap way to raise some cash when/if exercised in a year or more's time! | forwood
19/1/2022 08:23 | OUR tea leaves never lie!......;-) | nigoil
19/1/2022 08:17 | A couple of brief points: 1. I'd like to extend my thanks to the company for what has so far been terrific coverage of the operations. (I'm assuming they follow this thread). I've never seen such an effective combination of live footage and interviews to keep us in the loop - one can almost sense being on the North Slope. 2. The RNS concerning a 500,000 sale by Justin does not concern me. In the dim and distant past I was in a not dissimilar position - sitting on shares and options that would make me £m's but with a bank balance in the £'000s. I imagine Justin has bills to pay now, hence the sale. However, given he still has options over more than 10 million shares I imagine he's going to do ok out of Pantheon and in my view I still see that as a, ahem, decent level of commitment to the project. | overeager
19/1/2022 08:10 | Chris . Genius haha miss jones | winner66
19/1/2022 08:04 | Or Miss Jones perhaps? | chris0805
19/1/2022 08:01 | More Lance Corporal Jones than Officer Digby. | rabito79
19/1/2022 07:57 | Phewee news from the frozen tundra. The fact that the Nordic-Calista #3 rig has already moved to the Theta West site means (surely?) that the Talitha #A well bore is safe and intact, ready for flow-testing. Had that not been the case, the big rig would have had to stay at Talitha for longer. Further de-risking the investment case? Tick. Stock goes up today. PS Brent and ANS West Coast at or around $88. | scot126
19/1/2022 07:50 | The more relevant and ‘newer’ news (not RNS’ed OD!), was what Jay and Bob had to say in their latest chat published last night 😀 | probabilityofsuccess
19/1/2022 07:48 | He has bought at the option price (~30p, as a previous RNS showed. He has sold at ~70p as advised in this RNS.. net profit ~40p / share..or ~£200k. Could be for a pending tax bill or anything else ( he has a wife & 2 children if I remember correctly) ... doesn't show lack of faith in the PANR story at all. Stil has sizeable holding & newly granted future options, some say they are excessive, but only worth it in the success case... remember that! | chris0805
19/1/2022 07:48 | The initial reaction to Justin from a share price perspective is likely to be negative. However that will just be an initial reaction . What will follow is an appreciation of just what we are going after , which quite frankly if your up to speed is vast , is incredible and offers huge potential. Successful flow tests will likely bring in a firm offer for all the shares at close to fair value . Which in my opinion is circa 4 times today’s share price . The investment case far out ways the daily fluctuations in share price . Whether we are 65p now or 85p now won’t matter a jot on success . | winner66
19/1/2022 07:44 | OfficerDigby - you are a know nothing clown. The only PDMR who realised some cash was Justin Hondris, the youngest of the directors (by some margin!!). He has school age children which ain't cheap in London. It's less than 10% of his total exposure to PANR. Biggus dealus. As to the announcement of the wider share options package. If this small band of men go on to create billions of dollars of value for shareholders then they'll deserve every single cent. Welcome to capitalism, you ignorant, ranty buffoon. Stock goes up today. | scot126
19/1/2022 07:39 | My now deleted post on the guild said it is not NEW news OD. It isn’t, perhaps you misunderstood the consequences of the Jan 13th RNS? I’ll be generous. | probabilityofsuccess
19/1/2022 07:38 | Share options are a double edged sword. On the one hand they keep operating costs low as you pay people less real money and give them share options instead. On the other hand, to get the money, the share options have to be excercised and sold. Very normal for US and Canadian companies. Nothing sinister. All done now. Focus is on operations now, spudding of Theta West soon and start of testing of Talitha soon. And that is all that matters now, the results...... | pro_s2009
19/1/2022 07:38 | croxie - he has exercised and then sold options. Before he had x shares and y options. He has exercised (converted to shares, and then sold) his y options so still has x shares. | probabilityofsuccess
19/1/2022 07:36 | (mistake that thread is for info mining). Things that are in RNS's are not news? POS? OK.. I see.. Exercise of share options means buying. Selling means selling. What would you be saying if it was the beloved Jay or Bob selling down? It looks terrible period. Right at the worst moment.. | officerdigby |
