Sorry to say this, but the current oil price has little to do with the value of Pantheon. Any buyer/investor will make an assessment of the company’s value based on an estimate of an average oil price over the next 10 to 20 years.

There are a number of well intervention operations that can be achieved via coiled tubing. These include cleanout and perforating the wellbore, as well as retrieving and replacing damaged equipment.
Additionally, advances in coiled tubing allow for real-time downhole measurements that can be used in logging operations and wellbore treatments. Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR) processes, such as hydraulic and acid fracturing, can also be performed using coiled tubing. Furthermore, sand control and cementing operations can be performed via coiled tubing.

Morning all panthers, hopefully things are moving along as planned with the Big Rig now on the slow journey to TW, drilling to start in the next few days

The coiled tubing unit should by now be attached at Talitha with testing operations about to commence!!

Remember the comment from Roger Young referring to the discovery and seismic results at Talitha - "its awesome, I've never seen anything like it - there's 1/2 a mile of oil, that's ridiculous but its true"

ps has anybody heard from Marmaris recently - I hope he's still holding after all the years waiting for a gigantic drill operation like we are now witnessing - it will likely be life changing for many of us.

1.1 mln was traded on the lse and moved over to the otcWould be interesting if this was our pottential farmin taking a stake in our assets via holding stock instead after the deal was not agreedIt's now 11.5 mln shares that have been traded this was since it started on the 4th

Yes a $1.05 close equates to c.76.76p price on LSE. Average OTC volume is 572,00; today's volume has been 2.4 million. A good sign.

……..and it seems to me that the price on the otc has somewhat decoupled from what happens over here recently. Anyone else spotted that trend? Or am I imagining it?

It wasn't intended to belittle. Call it "conviction". @Sirmark

cezuan you do realise this is a E&P company ???? they all work like that ...money drill money drill ..nothing new !

As for previous you are clearly forgetting the that Farallon have sold some 12% of the company in the past 12 months and in that time we have still 3/4 fold.

Anyway I'm not going get in a spat about it I've paid for my shares and along with Billionaire investors and institution and bond providers I'm going to keep my view that this IS and WILL be the most successful drilling season of any company in the world for 2022 and I have positioned myself accordingly,

@sirmark Securing the money to drill - while also being a bet on the drilling - is not representative of "the broader market". All existing investors HAD to get the money or they all would have lost on their prior investment. That is completely different to individuals buying the share price out of conviction.

E.g. pre-drilling in 2015 the share price rose from the drilling announcement until the drilling from Oct to Dec. The same happens in high conviction pharmaceutical companies. If "the market" believes in the value of a stock, they buy it up "in anticipation". "We" are selling in anticipation.

PADAMSTER, put it this way, if it goes t1ts up it's going to hurt. You don't have to believe me.

Note Alkaid test had a 40% oil cut, which increased intermittently. It's unclear whether the well had fully cleaned up and what steady state oil cut/water cut would be.
