Deliberate would be my interpretation.

I think the market is being incredibly mean here.

Lots of stuff is going on.

Shares are priced cheaply given all that.

Ignoring the sentiment for a minute.

You've got a business - equity - $1.65bn

Equity = £1.25bn
Market cap = £467m

Trading at 0.37x Book value.

Something isn't right. Clearly huge write downs could occur on O&G assets.

Got lots of cover though at these prices.

Looks like its on the verge of breaking the lows to me. I reckon 50p is where its heading. Rarely rallies.
Market must be wary of them having to go it alone on the project that Schlumberger may have felt was uneconomic hence their withdrawal . Been no update on anyone else seriously interested. I suspect the numbers just don't add up and its not worth the risk at this point in the commodity cycle. If it gets to 50p i'll buy back the equiv 50% i sold at 76 on the schlumberger news but its only to bring my average down to a better level not because i reckon this is a big time winner. Dissapointing to say the least.
