05/1/2007 20:32 | from digital look.com todays mkt update.Maybe this had a little something to do with recent rally! New Issues Round-Up Date: Friday 05 Jan 2007 LONDON (ShareCast) - The IPO market began 2007 at snail's pace, with just two new issues to get excited about, although talk that New Look may make a stockmarket comeback grabbed headlines........... "There was disappointment at Noah Education though as the provider of electronic learning products in China said it was delaying its float indefinitely after failing to achieve its intended valuation. The AIM listing, which had been lined up for the middle of December, was expected to raise as much as £31.6m and value the company at about £132m." Chinese companies have been seen as a bit too high risk by many investors after some recent high profile failures including bio-fertilizer group Bodisen Biotech. Next week is unlikely to provide much more interest as only debt advice firm Brightside and resource sector investments hopeful Bramlin are queued up for admission to AIM. | oniabsta
05/1/2007 16:32 | Yes oniabsta, those are very confident statements. I think the company can justify them due to the relative simplicity and ease of expansion of their business activities. Share price is showing good strength in weak markets. | penpont
04/1/2007 20:51 | 2 extracts taken from the start & finish of the ceo's annual report 2006 NORD ANGLIA CHIEF EXECUTIVE'S STRATEGIC OUTLOOK NORD ANGLIA HAS TRANSFORMED ITSELF IN THE LAST YEAR. GOING FORWARD THE MAJORITY OF NORD ANGLIA'S PROFITS WILL BE EARNED BY DELIVERING EDUCATION IN OVERSEAS MARKETS WHERE THE APPETITE FOR BRITISH EDUCATION IS EXPERIENCING RAPID GROWTH. and Nord Anglia has built a solid strategic platform from which it can take advantage of the international demand for British education. The company is well positioned for tremendous progress in the coming years and I look forward to working with my highly talented colleagues to deliver an exciting future for all our stakeholders. | oniabsta
04/1/2007 20:32 | Penpont - i agree with your comments and you're not to late to the party, this company has a very exciting future imo. Personally i think it is the best find i have come across in an age. My normal trading routine is to generally topslice and buy back on dips, but not this share, i will not be topslicing, only buying on pullbacks. Trouble is it doesn't pullback very often! I've heard this a lot of times on the bb's but genuinely i'm in this one for the long haul. | oniabsta

04/1/2007 14:58 | Bought in here today. Don't think it's too late to join what could be a long term success story in the overseas education sector. Last results statement reads very confidently and shows plenty of well documented evidence of growth prospects based on long term, highly visible revenues. Potential demand for high quality education seems almost limitless in Asian markets where experience and reputation should provide barriers to entry. Currently on prosp PE of 12 compared to education sector star Carter and Carter on 25 - seems to me there is room to narrow that gap. | penpont
15/12/2006 16:13 | topped up on the last dip @ 240.25p. Glad i did! andysand - hope you got back into these, there's another 80% on it's way. | oniabsta
05/12/2006 09:45 | the nutter gets it wrong!! | richyrich3
05/12/2006 09:42 | Bought these on results day, shot up like a rocket since. 26% up in about 3 wks. still undervalued imo, huge potential in medium term. | oniabsta
29/11/2006 11:39 | That fair wind must have arrived | oniabsta
27/11/2006 19:04 | Well the price action today in a sell off market would indicate a very strong share.Given a fair wind this should fly. | oniabsta
27/11/2006 08:58 | Thanks andy. You are of course correct. Will watch out for that one in future. :-) | oniabsta
26/11/2006 04:28 | "Your not a school teacher are you :-)" Don't you mean "You're"? You need to get your grammar sorted:) Andy | andysand
24/11/2006 14:04 | Your not a school teacher are you :-) | oniabsta
24/11/2006 04:53 | oniabsta Very naughty mis-representation of my post! I think I said that we would need to see an offer of around 240p before the company would be tempted to sell. I think 200p is a fair valuation however a takover would need to pay a premium of .......say.....20%? Hence 240p. I don't believe there are any other offers in the wings and so I am not prepared to buy into a company that is already fairly valued. Of course I would like to see 150p so I could buy back in. As you say though, it is probably unlikely that I'll get it. Andy | andysand
23/11/2006 21:08 | Andysand re your post66 ....."We all know the company is undervalued, isn't that why we bought it? I think we will need to see 240p"..... and then post69...."I think that 200p was actually a fair valuation of the company at the moment"...."I will buy at anything below 150p" What happened in between to completely contradict yourself? Talking it down to get your shares back again wont work, IMHO you will have a long wait for this share ever to see 150p again! | oniabsta
23/11/2006 10:49 | intersting that the offer was rejected. I think that 200p was actually a fair valuation of the company at the moment. If the share price now drops significantly, there will be an opportunity to buy back in. I will buy at anything below 150p. Andy | andysand
24/10/2006 10:20 | Well, I decided to sell today. I am uncertain as to how much further there is to go and I don't want to be greedy having made about 80% on this share. The question is what to buy next? It's so hard to find non aim shares that are worth buying! Andy | andysand
23/10/2006 17:05 | And by the way, somebody should investigate the trades today. Won't happen though.. Andy | andysand
23/10/2006 17:02 | The deal is not done yet by any means. I believe there will have to be a higher offer to tempt the board. We all know the company is undervalued, isn't that why we bought it? I think we will need to see 240p before the management will be interested. Andy | andysand
23/10/2006 16:41 | I was right! Smug? Me? Andy | andysand |
