05/5/2005 05:12 | Press comment.......... Fundraising fears continued to unsettle Nord Anglia, the UK's biggest private nursery operator. Its shares closed 16.5p lower at 103.5p, but with property assets estimated to be worth £60m, some traders think the company could be a takeover target - although any bidder would have to be prepared to take on its debt, which stands at around £48m. Nord Anglia's market value is just £40m. | spurge

12/4/2005 19:27 | I bought in early today on back of recovery momentum supported by ofsted contract news. Wished i'd had the nerve to buy at the bottom when it hit 93p, but things looked a little less clear cut then than they do now. Seems to be a nice volume of buys, and am hopeful for a bit more upside, though I very definitely don't see it recovering to the pre-collapse level soon if ever. Nice post-bell RNS re Devon CC buying in big. I'd be surprised if their advisor would have had the temerity to tell them to buy into this unless they were VERY confident of their "bouncebackability". | ![]() wiganer
