MJF - you may have a point. they got tax relief on dvt expenditure. cantor are forecasting they pay tax, and pe's are after tax.

plus the £1.7m figure is before finance costs.

Based on £2.5m p/e is three which is far too cheap.Even based on forecast for 2014 of £1.7m p/e is only about 4.5.

something of a mixed bag;
- profit pre exceptionals was £2.5m, forecast £1.6m. v.good, but not repeatable.
- the goodwill impairment is irrelevant, but the development impairment is more concerning. presumably why that director resigned recently.
- The divi was not forecast, only 2% yield, but as importantly it indicates the return to a solid financial footing.
- Unsurprisingly next year is unlikely to be as good, Cantor forecasting £1.7m which ties in with their commentary about this year being less good.

I thought the chat on progress at the electronic division was very encouraging.

Still cheap - pe of 7 or so and cash generative.

I would have liked a bit more info on the progress of sales of the new products and also in new markets such as USA.I suppose we can be grateful that we at least got a trading update.

restoration of dividend. that was not forecast by Cantor, and clearly demonstrates the financial challenges are behind NWT. yield has been a big driver in stock performance recently.

Topped up yesterday as I m confident that next results will exceed expectations due to increased momentum in sale of new products and post office contract.Lack of news with this share does mean patience is required however.

I see Cantor are expecting free cash generation of £1.1m, this year. On an EV of £7m, thats a yield of 16%. Attractive. Given the visibility provided by the PO contract, I think a divi reinstatement is likely.

for anyone watching, the 200K 'sell' at 1.44p this morning was a buy

Did Seymour Pierce not have a buy rating and 2p target based on estimated turnover for 2013 of £15m and for 2014 of £16m?Turnover for 2013 is going to exceed their estimate by £2 to £3m!Hopefully an upgrade to follow?

Well just over a year ago I came back in and I'm sitting pretty smug. 4m shares, average price 0.8p leaves me sitting on a paper profit of £22k. I hope you won't resent me selling a few to bank a little profit but I plan to hold the majority as I'm still confident that we're on the right track. I think they've played down the Glue Box wording, there is just so much other good news. Costs and income down in the serving division is surprising I'd be expecteding serving income to increase given the contracts but that will come with the new installations. They've stated the same profit maintened due to lower costs, so a greater level of profit should come through when the revenue rises. I know that many others are in at a higher price but I hope that you've held and made some money back and are positive for the future too.

Can't find anything to not like in the results, and with likely return to a dividend and, what, 0.2/0.3p? EPS for the full year these are looking too cheap still IMO.

Davidosh, good to meet you too and to hear that you'd added whilst we were below a penny, I hope the days of below a penny are behind us and there is an opportunity to build from here. I certainly hope that you are not underwater for long.

It is still a concern that 62.4% of the company is not in public hands, it feels a little like a closed shop. I came away from the AGM thinking the business is relatively safe but how hungry are the management for growth. The Post Office deal is good but where is the next one? Landing another would prove the corner has been turned.

A rising shareprice is good for all those with a stake or thinking of taking a one, I'd like to see Brian actually purchase some shares, rather than wait for his options to come through.

I'm sitting tight for now although like any investment I'll bank some profit if the price continues to rise. I expect to still be holding a considerable amount in October so I'll be back to the AGM.

okgetreal...Good news today and it was a pleasure to meet you at the Agm. I came away much more confident too and had been adding to my holding which unfortunately had been built up over two years ago at much higher levels so I am still significantly underwater here.

I am also waiting for the glue box story to reach a successful conclusion and once again it has been a two year wait. Has Newmark finally turned the corner and can now under promise and over deliver rather than the other way round?

They hinted at the AGM there could be likely further orders. To secure them sends a strong message that the first phase is going well and the relationship with the post office is good. Can they extend this distribution to banks and high street bookmakers? Also where is the announcement on the glue box? Could we see three releases in a month? Next week glue box trials 'a success', followed by results in the following week showing improvement with an excellent outlook?? Tempted to take some profit on the 4m shares I've accumulated but I think I'll wait for 1.5p at least given the outlook!
