22/12/2010 07:52 | Poor set of results again. I continue to point out that they are capitalising r+d and the intangibles continue to rise sharply. If they were not capitalising and expensing it through the p and l like they should then they would be reporting losses. Only so long this state of play can continue without people clocking. Zero tax to pay on the profits shows how they are expensing r+d when they are submitting returns to HMRC. | horndean eagle
21/12/2010 20:53 | let's hope they're good mjcf. The share price could do with a nice lift before Christmas! | sharedgain
21/12/2010 12:15 | I have emailed company who have confirmed that results will be due out tomorrow a.m. | mjcferguson
11/12/2010 17:05 | Richard - you were right. Hit 23p then back down again. Bizarre that we're still at this level (21c) when just about every uranium stock is going through the roof. Seems as though management has spent too much time contemplating their navels rather than putting our money to work! | skyship
09/12/2010 15:37 | Patience is required with this share, information flow is slow to say the least!Interims were I believe on 18 December last year so hopefully we will get an update next week. | mjcferguson
23/11/2010 16:56 | 100% agree D, did not mean to imply otherwise, the normal disclosure rules would prevail, exactly as you say, hope you are well, ex | exel
23/11/2010 16:19 | They may update on the trials in the results but if they land a big contract before then (and it really could be any day now!) they would immediately have to announce it to the market as it would be material to the company and therefore price sensitive. The cash transit and ATM protection market is huge and Loomis are one of the biggest players in it. | davidosh
23/11/2010 15:59 | From this range, I sense they will wait for the interims next month. Just my gut feel, may be wrong. ex | exel
23/11/2010 10:21 | Are we overdue some news on the Loomis trials, and possibly other contracts ? Would the company wait until the Interims in mid-December to announce? Certainly needs a catalyst here. | strollingmolby
24/10/2010 10:04 | The ultimate resistance is .23. You can never tell what is going on behind the scene with NWT. Is it just options being exercised? | 721richard
23/10/2010 18:32 | Allelujah - NWT have finally broken through the 21c resistance & have done so with VOLUME. We could see a good %age rise out of these in the near-term. | skyship
27/9/2010 16:31 | I was offered 1,000 at 1.879! They are certainly not keen to sell at present. | pentangle
27/9/2010 16:26 | BSL (Barclays) will only sell me just 10k! online now (frankly, peanuts) so I guess the bid simply had to move up, a bit, to try and get some stock back into the MM's hands. very tight! ex | exel
27/9/2010 09:45 | looked at a further small top-up today and, surprisingly, just found that a mere 25k ords online was the maximum at the full offer of 1.9p. not even 26k was 'on' (at any price). as a long-stay watcher/holder of this interesting little stock, I simply can't recall the buy limit being either that tight, or that unyielding to a still wide-ish spread. it may mean nothing, or it may suggest there is not much stock for the MM's to play with. ex | exel
24/9/2010 13:59 | Just made a small top-up. Regards UK PS G4S used to be known as Group4 Security - famous for losing prisoners :-) | uknighted
24/9/2010 13:43 | GS4 is not Newmark as far as i can see doing a web search | divinausa1
24/9/2010 13:03 | don't know SM, but the timing seems amazingly co-incidental to that of the loomis trial. there have also been a couple of chunky buys over on PLUS today, probably unconnected. until informed otherwise, I will assume that this G4S glue-solution is not from NWT. ex | exel
24/9/2010 09:25 | Report of G4S trialling a glue-solution for cash boxes. Sounds like a rival to NWT's glue banknote degradation solution. I presume the Loomis trial is exclusive to them, and the news above is not NWT? | strollingmolby
22/9/2010 10:04 | had not spotted yesterday's RNS re the late Alex Reid's family holdings etc. it is very good to have this on the record. also, this combination of holdings was in fact represented at the recent AGM - which was really very good to see, albeit still under the sad circumstances of Alex's untimely demise. ex | exel
21/9/2010 18:16 | me too, since 2004, but I do sense that things will come together here idc, perhaps not to a major extent in the current financial year, in my view, other than via business & profit & div as usual etc, but probably in the next - just my take. ex | exel
21/9/2010 17:07 | Thanks Exel.have held this for some time as it seems undervalued by the market but it certainly is one for the patient. | mjcferguson
19/9/2010 14:49 | Thanks for raising the R&D issue, even if it hadn't result in any great enlightening. | aleman
18/9/2010 11:47 | mjcf - The 8/9/10 AGM was generally quite positive, and much better attended (and questionned) than any I have managed to make so far, but financial PR here could be greatly improved (not just my view, judging by questions, probing and comments on the day). For example, the lack of a formal progress update to the meeting (and to the market, via a parallel RNS) was a tad disappointing. Informally, the mood was solid, constructive and cautiously optimistic - re all major development projects, launches and trials, and re both divisions. However, no firm indications (that would have required an RNS) were made available to the meeting, as the Boardmembers were careful not to either 'get ahead of themselves' or to make inappropriate disclosures. While the wait for firmer news (e.g. re the Loomis trial outcomes) continues, the prospects for both divisions are arguably better founded than for some time. I flagged a concern that the ongoing cash impact of uplifted R&D had not gone un-noticed by many shareholders. The FD was well aware of this, and generally seemed unphased by the prospect of the group continuing to both justify and fund its central development strategies, and ultimately to benefit from the same. ex | exel
16/9/2010 13:21 | Any feedback from the AGM?Any word on progress with atm protection trials and rollout? I feel that this company has lots of potential, especially considering the large investment in R&D but that it is poor in communicating this. | mjcferguson
08/9/2010 08:35 | Anyone coming to the AGM today ? I think it is important that directors get to see shareholders and understand their needs and views. Any questions if not ? | davidosh |
