05/9/2013 22:15 | Less than a 3% holding now. When this overhang clears there shouldn't be anything to hold price back. | protean
05/9/2013 22:02 | Seller may be the former Henderson Fledging Fund. They may have sold 100/- to the ex-Gresham House guy, Mr Oury. If so, Henderson may have a further 400/- to sell. The fund is now an "income" fund with a new manager, Gervais Williams, perhaps viewing div prospects bearishly ? | coolen
04/9/2013 15:35 | Decent volume today but price not rising. Probably a seller in the background. Price should start moving up once they're gone. | protean
04/9/2013 09:03 | Would like to see a increase in the Divi. Tiger | castleford tiger
03/9/2013 17:44 | No probs. It looks good chart-wise as well bouncing off a longer term trend line and holding above recent support. So a good pullback entry point with strong upside imo. Those in the holding announcement yesterday and all those buying in today seem to think so as well. | protean
03/9/2013 17:24 | Protean, thanks for IC info.... Bought in after last weeks update at 167p. Hoping for a steady 15-20% return over the next year. Technicals and fundamentals seem good | jakedog2
03/9/2013 17:15 | Basically the article says the shares are lowly valued with an attractive rating PE-wise and trading at a hefty 25% discount to NAV. From a technical perspective it reckons that another leg up is likely and a year end target price of 220p is given - 33% upside from the price of the tip which was 165p offer. Largest volume today in nearly a year looking at the chart. | protean
03/9/2013 16:41 | Thanks for that, I didn't know it. The offer eventually gave way, now 169. Today 81 trades, virtually all buys, about 1% of MLIN. One percent is not too unusual for large cap shares though. There must have been a big block sell some time ago, as I am sure that the few sells the last month or so would never have provided the supply for all these buys. It was strange how ther was no reaction after the AR. There may be more to clear first; it always takes time to offload to small buyers. I gave up on IC membership a long time ago; what do they say that has excited virtually 81 buyers? | zastas
03/9/2013 14:41 | Interesting guy behind that recently-announced 4% stake: ex-Gresham House (GHE) and ex-Welsh Industrial Investment Trust. | coolen
03/9/2013 13:19 | It's what you call a fair bit of buying: on Level 2 just now I count more than 50, yes 50 trades so far!! And still, the offer is holding at 166.5; but bid to 165 now. Also some lucky couple have just increased -I assume- their holding, I've got a lot but not their 4.41%, 890.000 shares. Some do like Molins! | zastas
03/9/2013 12:30 | Getting a fair bit of buying today. ST in the IC has just written a positive update. | protean
29/8/2013 08:45 | Note from ED on today's interims hxxp://www.equitydev | brummy_git
29/8/2013 07:55 | Great numbers. Bit tight with the dividend , but I expect a increase in 2nd half payment. Will make over 20p eps so at 200p they look cheap in my opinion. Lets see what market does when it opens. Tiger | castleford tiger
16/7/2013 18:17 | I knew I would go away and it would spike. Got a further 95,000 in june all well below what I would have given. 200p is a low target. want another QUICK FIRE ONE FOR THIS WEEK. DART DTG group. Results 19.07.13 target 250/300p have a look on their b/b I am invested there as well, Tiger | castleford tiger
15/7/2013 15:22 | So, No Smoke Without Fire then last week. Just a few journos on IC buying then ( as well as Tiger)? Seems not enough to explain; many of us hope there might be an Invensys-type offer on the table one day. Holy..... : today an about 10% rise. Pricing pressure remains upwards, having watched L2 and the auctions for a while now. I think without a take-over fever they are worth at least 200; I'll wait till then. | zastas
15/7/2013 12:20 | Yeap, looks like it's on his way up!! | blondeamon
15/7/2013 12:16 | Nice gains today- very positive article in the Investors Chronicle. | ajb29
15/7/2013 12:16 | news that uniform/blank cigarette packaging is not starting may be helping. | deadly
10/7/2013 16:14 | Also noticed the rise in the past few days. Interim Management Statement was simply "steady as she goes" - orders up but sales and profits within previous guidance. Half year results not due until end of August. A positive cheeky early announcement would be great. | alan@bj
10/7/2013 15:05 | The start of a run up to the half year report due in the next few weeks? Or maybe that's a bit premature.. Either way a cheeky early announcement would be good! | ajb29
10/7/2013 14:02 | Any good news? Or is it just you buying again Tiger ? | zastas
31/5/2013 07:35 | I am buying again | castleford tiger
14/5/2013 11:02 | starting to move up ! | s34icknote
13/5/2013 12:51 | Hey so did anybody read the 'specials' in the AGM notes mentioned in the recent announcement? Have to admit I have had some trouble deciphering it... Share buy-back? Director dealing? Advice appreciated. In the meantime any thoughts on the current price? Still quite a few sells going on but in general stabilising? Looks to be about on the 200 day moving average right now which seems to be offering some support? | ajb29 |
