18/4/2007 16:35 | MM's have taken a few on board today, including a couple of 50k sells, without flinching on the bid. I'm looking forward to tomorrow. Here's hoping for some positive news hey!! | duplicate book
18/4/2007 08:13 | duplicate book, if MDL have the 3D seismic report and the report has been analysied by themselves and it is positive then imo MDL would release it prior to the agm. Its in MDL's interest to, "farmout bargaining power" to cover drill costs etc! But if they are obliged to I doubt it. As long as they do not announce it at the AGM. They may hold info back until it suits them. Say a day or a week................ | greatfull dead
18/4/2007 07:36 | I was wondering if MDL would have to issue an RNS prior to the AGM if they were going to announce any information that would have an impact on the share price? If we were going to receive a positive update on the 3D Seismic tomorrow, would the market need to be informed before the AGM? Maybe our update is more to do with the progress thats being made on the preperation of the findings, and not the result of the findings themselves, which would come at a later date. Thoughts anyone?............. | duplicate book
17/4/2007 22:54 | Tomorrow mornings trading is going to be very interesting. MM's were still paying 23.5p for stock, inspite of the 22.5p shown bid, and the offer remained at 25p through the day, with buys/sells being about even I reckon. Lets see if they walk it up a little in the morning........... | duplicate book
17/4/2007 19:20 | Just to remind everyone the potential of Louza permit. 3D result should be very exciting indeed! LONDON (AFX) - MedOil PLC said a study by independent consultants showed its southern sector offshore Louza Permit M'Sela-1 oil discovery has estimated indicative recoverable reserves of 48-225 mln barrels. The Merlin Energy Resources also showed total oil-in-place volumes of between 260 mln-860 mln barrels, MedOil said. In an update on its activities since its Tunisian permit award, the company also said that four other structures in the immediate vicinity of M'Sela-1 have oil-in-place numbers ranging from 480 mln to 1.11 bln barrels. MedOil will now conduct a 3-D seismic survey of the area. The offshore Louza Prospecting Permit was awarded to MedOil and its partner, TGS-NOPEC, for a two-year period commencing on Sept 23. MedOil has a 95 pct equity interest in the permit. vs | deanmatlazin
17/4/2007 12:34 | Back to MDL. A drill schedule for "wherever" the seismics are done and show good possibilities will get this motoring for sure, it would be a point to raise at the AGM for anyone attending. | greatfull dead
17/4/2007 12:28 | MedOil also said it expects the results of its seismic survey at the Louza permit in Tunisia to be available soon. If the above results are announced and its positive then there is a cause of upside movement, confirmed drilling dates and new permits in Italy will give this share a massive boost..... | quraishim
