08/5/2007 12:27 | up again. No sellers now I think.If you want them you pay | cat100
08/5/2007 12:15 | Another 50k buy, small tick up on the bid, offer remains the same and its not often we have just a 1p spread on MDL! Can't see that as a speculative punt by a trader somehow. Do think we may have entered into a new trading range, though I do appreciate any bored holders dumping even a small amount of stock would take us down again!!! | duplicate book
04/5/2007 17:28 | More nibbles, nearly 100k today. Still remain to be convinced this won't slide back to 16 over the summer. | dodman2
03/5/2007 08:04 | Price seems to have firmed a little now. Could still be one or two T traders needing to close, but I think the ship seems to be steadying again. Those 40k buys over the last few days have helped! Lets hope its somebody taking a stake and there's a few more to go :o)) | duplicate book
02/5/2007 20:29 | 40k buy at close @.205 | cat100
30/4/2007 14:21 | interesting move today | cat100
26/4/2007 18:28 | I would have thought the lacklustre news has shaken the tree a bit and we'll see some of the folks who got in low getting out around 20p for a while. You never know - we could even see 15p again. If they do go back to market for a further raising it will be interesting to see what price they set. | dodman2
26/4/2007 13:48 | Somebody just sold 25k at 2p under bid price!! | duplicate book
26/4/2007 11:17 | dodman2, thank you for that summary of the AGM. Lets hope we see a farm in for the Louza permit in Tunisia. From the RNS prior to AGM it does look a very good prospect. | greatfull dead
26/4/2007 11:07 | Here's my pal's write up of the AGM: The meeting was pretty relaxed - about 30 people in the small room, so it was full which was good. I missed the first bit, but joined in where the were setting out their current situation: 1. They've given up Malta altogether because of the need to have a drilling agreement in place before the granting of a license. 2. Tunisia is good to go, and the 3D results were better than anticipated. They are putting out for a drilling partner. 3. Spain - need to wait till after local elections in May for a decision. Concerns voiced over a nature reserve, but they are well offshore. Cheap at 150,000Euros 4. Sicily - they are bidding on a license adjacent to a currently active area and surveys suggest that the oil could be collecting in a reserve which extends into the new license area. Again, cheap at 150,000Euros and the oil is not deep. 5. Albania - proven oil field since 1928. Have a 2yr seismic option and they have agreed to spend $2m over that time developing the detailed survey of the area - they don't need a drilling commitment. Anticipate doing a 3D survey in 2008. Issue over boundary ownership with Greece/Corfu. I have to say it did seem very speculative. the images of the surveys were pretty vague - but I suppose you get good at reading them with experience... but the directors were very open and seemed pretty straight. As of Sept 06 they had $1m in the bank and they raised $3m in stock releases. The interesting bit will be when they announce the drilling partner for Tunisia. | dodman2
24/4/2007 14:37 | Thanks guys. | mustau
24/4/2007 11:53 | mustau ... ivanhoe energy. See above under "useful links | crosbie2
24/4/2007 07:49 | dodman2.......I agree. Being so illiquid, we can go down in chunks, as well as up in chunks on very little volume traded. The only thing now is, we know that the 3D seismic has proved positive, we can expect a considerable upgrade on the oil in place, and we may get news out of the blue of a farm in any time over the next two or three months! I'm pleased to be in and holding, and if it does drop back down to the 17p level, I'll be adding whenever possible. | duplicate book
24/4/2007 01:09 | I reckon she'll go back down to the 17's again on no news. | dodman2 |
