01/11/2013 10:58 | I've been buying these steadily because, whilst I am concerned that some of the P/E multiples on many of my shares are starting to look frothy, this stands out as being incredibly cheap. It has low PER and high dividend yield - just my cup of tea. The market seems to like the update but can anyone tell me what "current market expectations" for 2013 are? I've checked various websites for 'analysts estimates' without success. I realise that last year's profits were 'exceptional' but does this mean that the current year's are expected to be lower? | jeffian
01/11/2013 10:30 | This is a great update - if management expect results to be in line even with a 'difficult market backdrop' imagine what they could do when the resources sector finally recovers. Happy to wait for a re-rating here and will enjoy the 8% yield in the meantime! | m1das_touch
31/10/2013 10:10 | Henderson now above 10%. Slightly surprised that the share price has plateau-ed as most of the activity recently has been buying (some of it mine!). If my own experience is anything to go by, then all the deals around mid-price reported as '?' by ADVFN are actually buys. | jeffian
25/10/2013 12:40 | Time shareholders were given an end of period update. | gliderpilot2002
04/10/2013 16:38 | RNS shows Henderson below 10% - but comparing with major holders at 1 July on MDM website means they must have bought a quarter of a million odd over the last three months. | hop53ton
02/10/2013 09:52 | Release of results from De Bron definitive feasibility study delayed to Q1 2014 to accommodate implementation of Wits' acquisition of Southgold: hxxp://www.prnewswir | hop53ton
28/9/2013 15:55 | Last year the pre-close update was 17 Oct; the interims were on 28 Nov which is the same this year according to Sharescope. Last year the merger with (takeover by) Sedgeman was announced with the interims at 181p per MDM share. My feeling is that it won't be long now before that is reached, though I suspect it depends a bit on the SA Rand or is all the work quoted in US dollars? | dozey1
26/9/2013 11:54 | AGM is in Monaco @11am so presumably an rns this afternoon. A touch far for most people to go. | deucetoace
25/9/2013 16:29 | Where is the Agm ? Anyone going ? | davidosh
25/9/2013 16:19 | Recent article about Witts Gold - mentions De Bron (DBM) project which MDM did feasibility studies for and list as potential work from next phase execution in 2014: AGM tomorrow. If MDM follow timetable from previous couple of years should get a pre-interims trading statement in middle of next month ahead of results end of November. | hop53ton
17/9/2013 15:14 | Nice gradual tick up here. Bought in with hesitation at 129. Seemed too good to be true. Pleased with my purchase so far. | nermil
08/9/2013 15:56 | Hope that implication of last announcement is that Sibanye is moving on more feasibility studies on West Rand tailings with MDM in tow. MDM estimate project value at US$750m - so eventual execution could be really valuable work, even if in stages. According to schedule in last results presentation should also be news on Evander 6 execution fairly soon, then Tafrent and Debron execution late this year/early next, all of them US$100m plus projects. DYOR etc. | hop53ton

04/9/2013 14:55 | No director buys for a long time. 2011 was the last buy and sell. Doesn't really give me much confidence. | mrx9000

28/8/2013 11:43 | Anyone got level 2 info? thanks | wipo1
27/8/2013 11:48 | Since my posting above, the website has been updated again.... The sentence saying "amount of shares not in public hands" has been removed and the total now adds up to approx 81%. This is much lower than the 98.51% last week. Also agree with the nominee account mentioned by Greenroom so actual shares held by institutions is probably much lower...high 60's % ??? In any case there is much more free float than I thought so thats good. Expect this to continue moving north... GLA | sar10 |
