They certainly did have a cunning plan and it has worked very well. They took our money to the USA and spent it for us.

calm - That's all well and good but where are Matra going to get the money from to invest in growth. They can't borrow any more, they will not have sufficient funds to grow the business organically because they have to repay debt. They still need to do a deal to refinance the business.

Ah desperate Dan. Secret vodka swilling trips to Russia to gain informative insight into the company, Vlad and Boris kissing his rosy cheeks at the railway terminus. Wonderful man with an unparalleled knowledge of Peruvian rain forest detritus.

budget - By their own admission, the plan was to complete a merger with a listed company, place new shares in the new entity to raise fresh capital and use some of that capital to reduce the debt burden. I would say they are cutting it fine if they intend to do anything before Christmas. I appreciate that if they could complete a merger before Christmas their lenders would give them time to make debt repayments.

"..With regard to debt, Matra USA had 57% of their balance sheet as debt, they reduced this to less than 30% with the reserve re-evaluation but they did not take advantage of the situation by using the strengthened balance sheet to raise fresh capital from the markets and reduce debt.."

Beggarman, to be fair we dont know what they are doing with the reserve re-evaluation - they haven't taken advantage of it ....yet

calm, there is one BRITISH company drilling in Texas with NO debt - take a look at PANR - I first bought in before I heard of matra and it was languishing around 10p - now over a quid and likely to go much higher, wish I'd doubled up on panr and steered well clear of the Rushski.........

calm - Let's see what happens in Jauary! My concern is that the debt has already been rolled over once, are Green Bank prepared to keep rolling it over?

If you read my post properly I said they had reduced their debt to equity ratio to below 30% with the reserve re-evaluation but they didn't take advantage of it.

They have conned the company by delisting it solely to make money -The delist was on from moment they got on board .RTO was just a ruse to give them more time to work out deal whilst stopping any trading .Name one just one promise they have kept or one thing they have done for shareholders other than milking company to hilt
