03/3/2011 16:20 | got to get in............dribbl good luck ok so the mm's walked the stock on little volume down..........then we see our first hammer on big volume? why did price not fall further here..........it was being bought by the smart mob........the mm's do not rise the price quickly, common trick...so as not to attract attention........... now a clear uptrend line has formed from the previuos two points sloping up......good sign.......... we see the down line to break...... mm's roll it back, but dont break the trend or previuos low..........2nd arrow denotes mm test and absorption.......... then bang news and mark up phase commences........... it can go higher the range is well over the previous bars.......thus its all smoke and mirrirs for the mm's and smart mob to raid the bank and thus create average 95% + loss to all and sundry...... | the_boy_plunger
03/3/2011 16:14 | But surely a 1,000 cab overseas order is a game changer? We all know why these cabs are popular in the UK, but if they're now internationally competitive due to being made in China, then that makes this stock potentially very exciting. I do accept that it's been a serial disappointer in the past though, but looks like they've done the things needed to restructure. | paulypilot
03/3/2011 16:06 | Tiny market cap, world renowned brand, operational costs slashed over last 2 years, return to profitability this year and now rapidly expanding sales. Last time there was a sniff of good news MNGS went up 200% in 7 trading days. | darlocst
03/3/2011 16:02 | just be careful the range.. they cant wait, would not buy at 37p when u should of.......and then prepared to pay 20p higher.........withi look at the range of the share price over the past and see you could get run over...... i opened at 37p 2 contracts closed 55p out......... ready to buy again....... i and most bought the top.......... | the_boy_plunger
03/3/2011 15:59 | Pretty exciting announcement. If they can get 1,000 cabs order from such a minnow country, it means the China-manufactured products are clearly price-competitive, hence this could open up an avalanche of orders from abroad, who knows? Looks very exciting to me, hence have gone long at 50p today. Although I do wish they would re-engineer the rear suspension, they are SOOOOO uncomfortable over speed humps! Cheers, Paul. | paulypilot
03/3/2011 15:53 | Annual results 18th March so guess we will know then. | tannand
03/3/2011 15:34 | Does anyone know how the Jan and Feb sales here in the UK went ? | davidosh
03/3/2011 15:34 | I think they will need to sell ten times that number before it will have much financial benefit coming back to the UK from the joint venture. Sales last year were only 226. What happened to the 3000 plus orders they claimed to have from overseas interested parties when the jv started ?? | davidosh
03/3/2011 15:26 | Contract win for a thousand vehicles! | tannand
19/1/2011 09:18 | surely thats positive, even to a crazy mkt! | thepinkpanther
19/1/2011 09:03 | Up 4.5p on getting 120 day credit from China, trading in line. Q4 sales 384 (382). International sales 226. Outlook 'well positioned to return to profitability in 2011' 'the Group is not in discussions with Geely regarding any proposed placing or offer for the Group' | alunmorris
12/1/2011 16:19 | Well, the olympics are coming, and with the rising cost of motoring and the conservative government creating unemployment by their cuts, more people will be pushed onto public transport. But it is what happens with the Chinese that I think will be the make or break of MNGS, and not what happens in some small little island off the coast of Europe. | crystalclear
07/1/2011 13:21 | That suggests that annual sales are still in decline.... 2008...1951 2009...1724 2010...1686 They will still be making thumping great losses and the Merc eating into market share further cannot help. | davidosh

07/1/2011 11:52 | Nothing extraordinary in the December registrations data, David. LTI registered 132, and Mercedes 34, maintaining the 80:20 split seen for much of the year. In fact the 2010 split is 1686:445 (79%:21%) | strollingmolby

06/1/2011 18:31 | Does anyone have any views with regards to MNGS and their competitor ECV (Eco City) ? ECV seem to be increasing their market share. I'll shortly be looking at ECV and comparing to MNGS. | dag1967
30/12/2010 17:28 | Cabs are changing all around the world now New York to get a new design... Anyone got the latest November and December sales figures once they are available ? There may be a bleak update here as I suspect the weather does not help and peeps will not have been out and airport trips reduced. | davidosh
27/11/2010 17:30 | There are some oil exploration companies with enough producing assets to protect them from finanical failure. I don't want to advertise anything here, as that's bad conduct, but I consider them a more reasonable investment, as there seems to be no long term downside on them, multiple chances of upside due to multiple licence areas to drill and a high chance that one of them will be a gusher (seismic surveys say so and area has previously found oil fields). Interesting name you have: "there are old traders and bold traders but there are no old bold traders" comes to mind. | crystalclear
27/11/2010 16:31 | The Geely website and SLTI search pages make interesting reading.SLTI have been supplying Coventry with kits at a 30% discount if I read the piece correctly. Also reported that this year many other arab nations are ordering,One has ordered 3 Luxury models. The IMS states that orders genrally are up and 2011 should return to profitabality. In this climate with little or no interest being paid on funds, property in the doldrums and many Businesses being unable to cope its a gamble where ever you put your cash. So, just looking at one or two shares that I think may bring a reasonable return. Who really knows! Thanks for your candid view and taking the time to put your thoughts across.I may take just a small punt and keep a watchful eye,if so I will post.O/T my modest portfolio looks alittle peeky right now but hoping for a revival!! cheers. | boldtrader |
