29/9/2012 10:04 | Nope, don't think so. Geely have way too much invested in this to let it go, they're in for the long haul. There's a new smaller city taxi due later next year, electric TX4 being developed, the next raft of azerbhajan deliveries due soon and the agreement to distribute Geely cars in the UK. Potentially a good business, just needs some stronger leadership and better PR. They need to smarten up their communication and fight the doom mungers and the share price will shoot up. Frustrating company.......... | adorran
29/9/2012 08:44 | looks like adios muchachos? | oralmex
28/9/2012 18:41 | The results are on their website. Not great, but not any worse than we already knew. looks like a 'steady as she goes' report. | adorran
28/9/2012 17:47 | looks like it could take a hammering monday on the back of this | empirestate
28/9/2012 17:36 | Looks like 'thank you and good night' to me - could be a pre-pack to buy the brand but there isn't anything else that I can see. | toffeeman
28/9/2012 16:52 | shares could well be suspended monday morning if they don't put it out tonite | empirestate
28/9/2012 16:38 | Post 4.40 RNSs are bad form, especially on a Friday. Not impressed. | adorran
28/9/2012 16:10 | looks like after close of market which is always bad news imo. 20 mins to go, i very much doubt if it will come before 4.30 | empirestate
28/9/2012 16:09 | I would say, as soon as the market is closed, the RNS will be released. Normally results are released prior to the days trading. Very strange. | jascat
28/9/2012 16:07 | Strange, LTI stop at lunchtime on a Friday so it must mean close of markets. Weird leaving it so late though - something happening te that they want to report, or trying to sneak report out at close of play? | adorran
28/9/2012 15:41 | less than an hour to go, i wonder what they mean't by 'close of business', is it the market, or would it after hours based on usual clocking off time of 5pm, either way its poor form. | empirestate
28/9/2012 08:09 | You shouldn't have long to wait - they only work a half day on a Friday (old world British manufacturing!!). Sitting on a few myself, but will hang on no matter what - these are going to rise pretty quickly as lots of things happening. | adorran
28/9/2012 07:52 | I am sitting on 200,000. It is poor stock market manners to release figures during trading. It also makes life difficult for the company broker. | jascat
27/9/2012 15:52 | should be interesting here in the morning, have held off buying so far, but either way it goes would look to get in at some point | empirestate
21/9/2012 16:31 | A fair call, but don't think Geely will be doing anything to rock the boat, they still seem supportive from what I hear. Another big order looming from the middle east, that should steady the ship. Get through this period and the picture should be a lot rosier....especially if a viable electric cab materialises to keep Boris happy! | adorran
21/9/2012 15:31 | i think i'll wait until i see the numbers before taking a position. 'a substantial loss' could be material and with only gbp2.8m headroom on their bankings lines there could well be a covenant issue here imo | empirestate
20/9/2012 14:08 | The chief player will be Geely, all depends who they'd work with. There must be something positive happening, the price is rising having hit a low last week. must be worth a speculative punt. Looks like they're pretty close with an electric cab too, they've been keeping that quiet..... | adorran
20/9/2012 13:50 | TATA comes to mind....they turned around Jaguar... | diku
19/9/2012 20:43 | Not just about the numbers, there must be things happening here - people are buying. They've got agreement to distribute Geely cars in UK and rumours of electric TX4s being tested in Netherlands. Can only go up - if it doesn't then a manufacturer could snap it up for peanuts just to get the brand!! | adorran
19/9/2012 17:04 | strange share price rise today, should be interesting to see the update | empirestate
19/9/2012 16:28 | google TX4 engine failures | glasgow13
19/9/2012 16:00 | No I checkout the name at back of the Taxi... | diku
18/9/2012 09:13 | The one you asked must have been driving a merc | glasgow13
17/9/2012 19:54 | I looked at the balance sheet. It said problems... | zaksab |
