Nope, don't think so. Geely have way too much invested in this to let it go, they're in for the long haul. There's a new smaller city taxi due later next year, electric TX4 being developed, the next raft of azerbhajan deliveries due soon and the agreement to distribute Geely cars in the UK. Potentially a good business, just needs some stronger leadership and better PR. They need to smarten up their communication and fight the doom mungers and the share price will shoot up. Frustrating company..........

I would say, as soon as the market is closed, the RNS will be released.
Normally results are released prior to the days trading. Very strange.

Strange, LTI stop at lunchtime on a Friday so it must mean close of markets. Weird leaving it so late though - something happening te that they want to report, or trying to sneak report out at close of play?

less than an hour to go, i wonder what they mean't by 'close of business', is it the market, or would it after hours based on usual clocking off time of 5pm, either way its poor form.

You shouldn't have long to wait - they only work a half day on a Friday (old world British manufacturing!!). Sitting on a few myself, but will hang on no matter what - these are going to rise pretty quickly as lots of things happening.

I am sitting on 200,000. It is poor stock market manners to release figures during trading. It also makes life difficult for the company broker.

A fair call, but don't think Geely will be doing anything to rock the boat, they still seem supportive from what I hear. Another big order looming from the middle east, that should steady the ship. Get through this period and the picture should be a lot rosier....especially if a viable electric cab materialises to keep Boris happy!

i think i'll wait until i see the numbers before taking a position. 'a substantial loss' could be material and with only gbp2.8m headroom on their bankings lines there could well be a covenant issue here imo

The chief player will be Geely, all depends who they'd work with. There must be something positive happening, the price is rising having hit a low last week. must be worth a speculative punt. Looks like they're pretty close with an electric cab too, they've been keeping that quiet.....

Not just about the numbers, there must be things happening here - people are buying. They've got agreement to distribute Geely cars in UK and rumours of electric TX4s being tested in Netherlands. Can only go up - if it doesn't then a manufacturer could snap it up for peanuts just to get the brand!!
