The way I look at it is..........
Once the world stock markets find out Moneybags has bought an initial stake in Lonmin, Their could be a world wide buying frenzy in the stock.
Either that, Or it will go down.....!

Looking for a percentage bet eh? I don't tell other people what to do with their money.I think most posters here are sitting on quite high profits.As Mr Trump would say we're up 'bigly'.But with the vix up 5% and a Clinton victory and a December Fed rate hike already priced into the market,what will happen if these presumed events don't happen? Your investment could be very profitable.

Let's hope so foxy.Chinese manufacturing PMI also due tomorrow.Good number over the 50 mark will register expansion and growth over there, which will help all commodities.

We now have confirmation from AMCU that a wage deal will be signed with the big three platinum producers.That's one hurdle out the way.Could be good timing, with it not overshadowing FY results in two weeks.Let's see what the market reaction is tomorrow.

We now need to see this pt price increase reflected in Lmi's share price! I never expected the FBI to help us out.I was expecting a slight weakening in dollar strength as we got closer to the election on 8/11 due to the expected tightening in the polls.A Trump victory would give gold and platinum a real boost,just like Brexit,because it would be so unexpected.Now with more Wikileaks revelations expected next week,markets could get very jittery.We have had remarkably little volatility lately, with the VIX index at extraordinary lows.This is about to change i believe.What if Trump does triumph? He is no lover of Yellen and the Fed.Even though the Federal reserve is neutral and apolitical,can you honestly see the Fed raising rates in December?.It would be seen as very provocative as they have only raised rates once in eight years of Democratic rule in the White House.We have the prospect of the Italian constitutional election 4/12,where the result is far from certain,plus an ECB meeting on 8/12 where an extension to the bond buying programme is expected.We also have the prospect of an OPEC meeting in Vienna 30/11 where i am almost certain all the pre-arranged agreements to quotas and production cuts between members will collapse.It's happened before,it will happen again.The elevated oil price will tumble sharply, taking the dollar with it.The present dollar strength is being helped by the high WTI price.The ensuing volatility on world markets caused by this disruption could prevent the Fed raising rates 13-14/12 at their meeting.A lot of ifs,buts and maybes i know,but all could massively influence precious metal prices and their mining stocks.

Amplats offering 7% tentative wage deal increase over next 3 years with a 'peace' clause attached whereby the union promise not to undertake industrial action.Ummm not sure what to think.Good industrial relations are vital,but Ben better get the PR right here.Lots of stakeholders interests to satisfy.

Yeah and i was 21 once Gilesy911.I'm not in the predicting game with this share anymore.There are so many variables to consider,along with a very chequered history recently.As i tell anyone,don't give recommendations to people and do your own due diligence when buying shares.I'm personally in this space because i invest in precious metals as a currency play, nothing more nothing less.I think there is tremendous upside here, when and if there is a wage agreement.Your Dad is correct,Lonmin shares were changing hands for this amount, and not that long ago in investing terms.I don't know what results will come out in November,but like every investor i live in hope!

Can anyone advise me of the date in November as I cannot find it in their website and the registrars don't appear to know. FY I mean Thank you in advance
