Good look with your 10k you will see relief rallys at times but this is firmly in a downtrend and who knows where the bottom is....I have been doing this for many years, I will give you 2 peices of very sound advice, don't get greedy and don't panic when you see stocks dropping, there are so many ups and downs. My short positions are bets with ig index, I have bet 100 pound a point the share price will drop, I have 3 positions, one at 232 & 208 & 177 all are currently in winning positions. Best of luck

Not entering because I am obviously short, but I reckon at 150.I will start to close some positions, all depends on news etc etc, but I think opening a short at current level would be a wise idea

Oh look it just hot 166 like I said it would, auto bots again in force 166 then 168 then 165 then 167 then back down again, it's been the same everday here, very easy to spot so predictable

Q. If the price is so cheap now and a great future in front on lmi etc then where are all the director purchases??? In fact very purchases from anyone since the results, tonnes of sellers though. 240 to 168 in a couple of weeks says it all and it's not all pt fault, pt was at 1000 and this was still dropping.Anyway, imo it's no where near oversold yet I am actually thinking 120 could come.

I've got no position, I've just been watching this share - and this board - for weeks. All I've seen is scaremongering from you and a few other shorters, with limited or no facts or figures to base your 'callings' on.And then pure silence in the times it doesn't go your way, and a miraculous return loaded with 'I told you so's' when it does. It's just embarrassing.

pjm - I must have missed the part where you called the massive sudden dip in commodities and FTSE in general - which would plunge Lonmin to the 160s, and your prediction that a worse-than-expected autumn statement would contribute to it. You're not an analyst, you're a scaremongering chancer.

Auto bots will trickle it down again, 171.25 and bounced, but it won't keep on bouncing from 171/172 ....watch this space
