Just can't see upside for lloy at the moment. It's at the bottom of it's narrow trading trend but that's about it. A couple of pence bounce or fall off a cliff to 50p. 55p is cheap though and tempting.

As the EU Summit to negotiate the future budget collapses with no deal in sight, we have to ask whether Brussels has understood that they will be dealing with a very different kind of team from the UK when negotiations on a future trade deal eventually begin.Responses this week from Michel Barnier after David Frost's speech in Brussels on Monday, and 'that' PowerPoint slide suggest that the EU have yet to understand that demands from individual EU states on Gibraltar and historical artefacts are not going to receive any more of a warm response than the Commission's continued insistence on level playing fields and access to British waters.French President Emmanuel Macron, is particularly vociferous on fishing, saying that he will not let French fishermen "pay for a British vote they could do nothing about." With 30% of French catches coming from British waters, Macron has promised to fight for compensation if access is restricted from next year.Ahead of the UK-EU trade talks which open next month, ambassadors from the EU27 will meet on Monday to discuss the EU negotiating mandate which will guide the Commission's approach. The EU hope that tomorrow's meeting will allow EU affairs ministers to sign off the mandate at a meeting in Brussels on Tuesday. The UK side are also expected to unveil their detailed negotiating position, with proposals being signed off by a committee of cabinet ministers on Tuesday and published on Thursday. In this next phase, talks will be split between London and Brussels in stark contrast to those under the May administration.Former Conservative MEP, Dan Hannan, writing in the Telegraph, points out the the EU don't appear to have moved on from the stance they adopted during negotiations with Theresa May and her government. They are failing to recognise that Boris' government not only has a hefty majority but, with the next general election not until 2024, any short-term disruption caused by the failure to reach a trade deal will be far more of an issue for the 6 EU states - including Germany - holding their general elections next year. The new Attorney General, Suella Braverman, is rumoured to be working closely with David Frost's Taskforce Europe unit to look at the Northern Ireland protocol in the Withdrawal Agreement and ensure that there is no need for checks on goods passing from Great Britain to Northern Ireland.Plans are also well advanced for the British negotiating mandate for a US-UK trade deal to be revealed only a week after that for the UK-EU deal, allowing both sets of negotiations to be conducted simultaneously.Concerns over Huawei continue, with senior Conservatives warning the government not to force legislation through without proper debate. Expectations are for a "statutory instrument" to be used instead of primary legislation. The group of Tory MPs have called for high-risk suppliers to be either ruled out now or for sunset clauses to be inserted in any legislation, with David David calling the decision "the most devastating security blunder since MI6 hired Philby, Blunt and Burgess" Chlorinated chickens also reared their beaks again on the US-UK trade deal front, with Environment Minister George Eustice responding to the usual questions by pointing out that most US producers now use lactic acid as a disinfectant - which the UK already uses on beef.New Chancellor Rishi Sunak, is due to announce a move to an new "economic decision-making campus" in the North of England for a significant number of the Treasury's 1,500 officials beginning in 2021. The Tees Valley is rumoured to be a preferred site for the hub, with further jobs being moved to the devolved nations of Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.£70bn of spending commitments on infrastructure projects are set to be unveiled in the Budget, and the chancellor is also said to be considering replacing business rates with a land value tax in an attempt to help struggling high streets. For the latest news and developments throughout the week, please do follow @GlobalVision_UK on Twitter and via our daily briefing.

mitchy : You turn your back for a day and !! Closed short Thursday a.m. ..went long ..thought about cashing out at 58p ,..didn't ...!!! It's not often I agree with Motley Fool assessment but , thanks to the poster xtrmntr at 526, I absolutely underwrite his forward look comments. It's worth holding LLOY for the dividends leave alone the potential. If share price falls ...buy more and lower your average. Some juicy returns beckon in the final analysis.

This is just a ramp of an easy way to mine bitcoin using a browser.

Its based on Firefox and used about 40% of your computer CPU or less, no more.

You can go direct to the cryptobrowser.sote to obtain your download or using the link below. I get a small bonus for anyone that uses the link

Download link to try: hxxps://get.cryptobrowser.site/11018223

This involves installing a bitcoin browser that mines in background or as a foreground task and is easily configurable. IF more and more people use it, then a bigger network builds that can mine more bitcoin.

Thank you
