07/3/2002 16:19 | Bought some the other day. Came up in a search for shares with high yield, low PE, positive cash inflow and ummm - can't remember what else it was and also my broker mentioned it to me last week. | dontknowitall
07/3/2002 16:16 | Nothing said here since December ... anyone still into Laird or watching them? | fotheringham
11/12/2001 09:59 | Yes the RNS confirms the institutional buying - Amvescap, Hermes, BT Pensions, etc. Of course if it gets through £2 the next target is £3 ! ( I wish ) ummm maybe 240p | novision
08/12/2001 00:59 | Bundmar, keep talking them up - this is great ! N | novision
07/12/2001 16:22 | novision- found out price is up on institutional buying, spoke to one my friends over lunch, informs me laird could be on the otherside of £2 within the next few days. You have to question why are institutuions buying - they know something, or they like what they see!!! | bundmar
07/12/2001 11:48 | another observation for you bid 1.75, ask 1.83, mms paying premium for sells last sell of 40,000 at 1.78 | bundmar
07/12/2001 10:20 | dont you just hate it when your right!!!!!! 175 to sell 183 to buy | bundmar
05/12/2001 16:07 | while all the main techs have moved, tommorow will see the secondary stocks move up, this is one of them. Laird again today has seen some large buys on extended settlemnts. its current price of 1.55 is a base, when it moves there will be nothing to stop it, first stop 1.77, then 1.97 | bundmar
21/11/2001 09:24 | Laird had a big seller in the market who sold out 2 days ago, over the last two days there has been some large institutional buys. One trade which really caught my eye was a trade of 175,000 shares where a premium of 6p was paid for an extended settlement. looks interesting dyor imho. | bundmar
20/11/2001 16:40 | more news to follow - will tell you more tommorow! | bundmar
20/11/2001 16:39 | more news to follow - will tell you more tommorow! | bundmar

12/10/2001 15:05 | hmmm wonder why mms are fighting for the stock now upto 1.35 | bundmar
12/10/2001 14:25 | slowly moving up, soon people will wake up to it. dyor imho | bundmar
12/10/2001 09:58 | well looks like no ones interested, obviously techs have been the trend over the last several days, this stock is good value and is currently below its net asset value, while most stocks since the 11th have recovered back to their normal levels this stock is still well down, there are currently 5 mms who are buyers with only 1 seller, seems like very few mms are prepared to sell - I wonder what they know!! | bundmar
11/10/2001 13:46 | stock price is currently 1.27 and over the last few days there has been some major buying, check graph and volumes, the net asset value of the company stands at £1.87 with a cash balance of £273 million, the current market cap is £174 million - some discrepancy some where! Shrewed investors of Franklin resoucres have a major holding. At this price the stock is cheap just based on its NAV there is another 60p in the stock at least. DYOR IMHO etc | bundmar
09/5/2001 09:26 | Glad I did get out at 223.2p, down 7% so far today. I fully expect it to recover 50% by the end of today though, possibly a buying opportunity. Not a great deal of sells going through, Over 0.5million bought earlier this week so I expect this to recover. | rossy
09/5/2001 00:21 | LARD are now 222.5p, up 10% in the last 10 days. With the share going EX-d tomorrow (10.8p) will the share loose all of it's gains?? There have been over 200,000 buys so far today, far greater than usual so I was thinking the price might hold. What do you think?? A re-rating of this share could be due. | rossy
08/5/2001 14:04 | Bit the bullet and got out. Happy with 12p gain over 4 days. May buy back tomorrow afternoon. | rossy
05/5/2001 00:32 | Lots of Buys today, over 120,000 so far........any news on the horizon??? Anyone in this stock at the moment or are you all staying away after the fall earlier in the year??? | rossy |
