Posted at 21/11/2005 09:01 by broadwood Had a nice rec in the Sunday Times yesterday - target price 430p! |
Posted at 19/3/2005 10:34 by penpont This looks an interesting situation, and results released on 15/3 seem to confirm that the restructuring undertaken recently is taking effect.Earnings profile for the past and future 2 years look like this: Current price= 347p 03 = 21.6p (A) 04 = 25.9p(A) 05 = 30p(E) 06 = 35p(E) This represents growth of 15-20%pa , and seems to suggest the company is at least capable of getting onto the sector average rating of x14 at some stage over the next 1/2 years, with a possible resultant price of 500p. Other factors favouring a rerating include a significant shift in production to low cost countries such as China and Eastern Europe, the possibility of further aquisitions to enhance earnings and a steadily rising dividend. |
Posted at 09/8/2002 00:22 by jayno Something good appears to be coming when the results are announced tomorrow as there has been healthy and sizeable buying of LARD yesterday and this morning. A couple of sellers at 140p which is to be expected, but no doubting the momentumJayno holding |
Posted at 07/12/2001 16:22 by bundmar novision- found out price is up on institutional buying, spoke to one my friends over lunch, informs me laird could be on the otherside of £2 within the next few days. You have to question why are institutuions buying - they know something, or they like what they see!!! |
Posted at 05/12/2001 16:07 by bundmar while all the main techs have moved, tommorow will see the secondary stocks move up, this is one of them. Laird again today has seen some large buys on extended settlemnts. its current price of 1.55 is a base, when it moves there will be nothing to stop it, first stop 1.77, then 1.97 |
Posted at 11/10/2001 13:46 by bundmar stock price is currently 1.27 and over the last few days there has been some major buying, check graph and volumes, the net asset value of the company stands at £1.87 with a cash balance of £273 million, the current market cap is £174 million - some discrepancy some where! Shrewed investors of Franklin resoucres have a major holding. At this price the stock is cheap just based on its NAV there is another 60p in the stock at least. DYOR IMHO etc |
Posted at 09/5/2001 00:21 by rossy LARD are now 222.5p, up 10% in the last 10 days. With the share going EX-d tomorrow (10.8p) will the share loose all of it's gains?? There have been over 200,000 buys so far today, far greater than usual so I was thinking the price might hold. What do you think?? A re-rating of this share could be due. |
