Knowledge Technology sees strengthening market position in 2007


LONDON (AFX) - Knowledge Technology Solutions PLC said it sees the company
strengthening its position in the live financial data services market in 2007 as
it rolls out its diversification programme.
In a statement ahead of the company's annual general meeting today, KTS said
it has introduced a new strategy aimed at building a broader, higher margin
revenue base.
The strategy includes developing solutions around the requirements arising
from the planned introduction of the European Union's Markets in Financial
Instruments Directive, MiFID.
Commenting on the future, chief executive Marc Pinter-Krainer said the
company's recent financing round was well supported and it now has over 1.8 mln
stg in new funds to strengthen its market position.

its also good to buy when things are going well....not just more jam tomorrow stories!!! now any good news is further diluted by all the shares that have been issued. This is a bad investment!!!

Lol...anyway...Mifid to be implemented as part of EU directive this year...this should be a good earner for KTS...buyers in today...always good to buy when things are quiet:-)

dont know sequoia. they have been updated recently. remember they dont get it right all the time.....how many of them outperform the FTSE!!!!

New MIFID rules (European Directive) come into force in Nov 07, therefore companies have to comply with rules...potentially lucrative business for KTS..

word is...expect a big leap on profits!.....and if closed, two very large deals (well for KTS anyway)....such is what I was 'told'....

I still remain at the sidelines watching events, there must be a fair old overhang on these?

I was assuming too much.
Todays RNS shows that Brian Newman and his wife have bought more and that other institutions have also bought.
Anyone know who Brian Newman is? He has 26 million shares!
Somebody bought over a million shares at 16.22 today.
Intriguing.
