08/6/2008 12:26 | As many regular posters know I have been a bear on this stock for some time, but changed my opinion following the reverse take over and the sale of market terminal. Market terminal was just a drain on resources and a sale for 50,000 quid highlights that. Arcontech contributed well in the last figures and really should have floated rather than the reverse which left them with a dog of a business. I think its time to buy and the sell order in the market gives the opportunity to buy cheaper. I would welcome Slaps comments if he is around | bluenose851
07/6/2008 00:00 | I'd dearly like to answer your posting with some facts. I trust you know that there is a pending sell order in the market for about 4.6m shares at 0.45 which is causing the price to drop...I actually found it using MarketTerminal so it has some uses. The MT business is going to Ionic (aka Sharescope) which will leave KTS with 3 main products: the Equiduct data distribution technology which is based loosely on MT; the Cityvision suite which is widely used and popular in the City, and the AXE trading platform for CFDs and spreadbetting (one day). This is where the potential upside is. The challenge for them is to deliver whilst facing increasing competition. | sjcsystems
06/6/2008 13:54 | lol yeah if pigs fly but 5p could be possible... | powwow
06/6/2008 13:54 | 53tom, Yes they are a different company I agree, however their strategy changed and they failed as a business in a nutshell. They are worth almost 0. If as you say they are going to go into profit then a 900k mcap company its worth a look at, to see and understand their current monthly cashflow, cash balance and how long will the money they have last until they need to raise more money.? | powwow
06/6/2008 13:51 | If you read the RNS's you will realise they have radically changed their operations and are a completely different company now. It was essentially a reverse takeover by Arcontech of KTS, and they are just about finished with the old Market trader market. Their potential is considerable and they are set to break even and then go into profit during the next year. | 53tom
06/6/2008 13:38 | does this really have a mcap of 900k.. to buy 30% is 270k.. Really... One of the problems I felt KTS had was this. I approached them as a consumer asking if I could user their terminal services. My response was we only cater for the corporate market. To me that was wrong from the start. Why close a segment of possible business. All they had to do with produce a light version and offer trading services like others to the consumers. They could have made the changes allowing for this to happen. If I have half a mill I'd buy the 50%, kick this lot out and make some serious changes. Anyone have the money, we don't need too much money to vote these monkeys out. They've returned no shareholder value and if my memory serves me , were they not once 13p. So if they had no acquired Arcontech systems they'd be finished. These guys remind me of Yoo/MIRA.. Buy a company or attempt to exert a strategy, fail, then buy another company and so on. No shareholder value apart from there pockets. | powwow
06/6/2008 08:51 | Heading south again! Any reason and how low? | 53tom
22/5/2008 14:47 | Agree. Let the good times roll now. Now all we need is continued orders for the Arcontech systems and hopefully profit in the 2009-09 accounts as stated by the management. | 53tom
22/5/2008 14:19 | i think they did well to get 50,000 for it. Giid deal. will let them concentrate on the good parts. | bluenose851
22/5/2008 12:53 | Intriguing how there have been rises in the share price before the regulatory announcement... | sjcsystems
13/5/2008 12:03 | On ADVFN, do we only see trades from AIM, because KTS is dual-listed on Plus - does this explain drops in the share price with no evidence of trading ? | sjcsystems
09/5/2008 11:13 | wouldnt read anything into it. | bluenose851
07/5/2008 12:45 | Any particular reason for the small drop today? | sjcsystems
17/4/2008 14:09 | a lot of director buys and now fund managers upping the ante. | bluenose851
16/4/2008 11:35 | will directors buy more, now it's cheaper? | andrbea
12/4/2008 07:40 | some other trades on Plus 11/04/2008 15:00:26 1.00 53,389 O 533.89 11/04/2008 16:02:01 0.91 14,814 O 134.81 11/04/2008 15:30:27 1.00 2,265 O 22.65 11/04/2008 15:21:35 1.00 53,880 O 538.80 11/04/2008 14:16:15 0.90 111,111 O 1,000.00 at close on Plus: up 56% (cf 48 on AIM) see, this is the second example I've seen this week of dissimilar rises between AIM and PLUS. They should get that sorted ;-) | andrbea
11/4/2008 21:43 | Andrbea, it could be that your broker either already has a holding or you are being aggregated with other trades, so don't be surprised if you don't see a trade go through which exactly matches the size of your trade. I expect this meteoric rise today will shake out a few profit takers, however I think the news will be positive for quite some time. | sjcsystems
11/4/2008 16:44 | with 99% of my shares, they appear ok reckon the Ms are doing some delayed reporting | andrbea
11/4/2008 16:35 | Well its nice to see one of my portfolio rising nicely. Of all my shares KTS was the last I expected to start recovering so soon! Hope this is not just a blip and can be sustained. andrbea -I often find my trades do not appear - do you also trade through barclays/ | 53tom
11/4/2008 15:35 | are the trades being reported (last hour or so) my buy wasn't... | andrbea |
