10/8/2016 10:24 | if 'fully funded through to cashflow and resulting revenue', the share price ought to be around 5 to 6p then IMO, as many AIM miners/oilers cannot claim that this year.... | andrbea
10/8/2016 10:00 | That was when cash positive in Q3 was expected. Now because of the makeover we've got to wait till Q2 2017 and the fund raise was at a too low price considering the opportunity as management put it. Gripe aside though, the upgrade work makes sense and mining is continuing with ore being stockpiled, they are fully funded through to cashflow and resulting revenue will be a lot higher. Worth the wait imo but better news flow would be good. | paleje
10/8/2016 09:22 | up 9% hey, this used to be north of 8p... | andrbea
04/8/2016 14:08 | Tempted to buy back here now....backed out a 5.25p as was worried about there funding. Only problem here is the huge over hang at 3p and the lack of trading volume....could take forever to get through all those shares!! Plus you only get one progess RNS every 3 months with these guys!!So it will be very slow moving i feel.....hhhhmmm But having said all that i do believe they are a good investment. | laptop15
04/8/2016 11:22 | Low volume and some still angry about the lowball fund raise hoping to see a bit of a lift but selling in frustration when it doesn't happen? I was peed off with the raise but haven't sold. Trouble is here as with all GC co's, news is scarce he doesn't have much regard for pi's, and without news it drifts. Downward:( The good bit you can now buy for under Clarke's price if you've got the stomach and patience:) | paleje
04/8/2016 10:18 | why the big fall? | andrbea
21/7/2016 16:55 | The potential is there and I have the faith so does Giles Clarke etc. | sabre6
21/7/2016 14:04 | if this was asx and a tiddler lithium play said we are going after ledpidolite, the stock would most likely capapult overnight, upwards by a factor of 5 or so ! Trouble is..... this is sleepy old AM which is far far far removed from the Aussie lithium (say gold) rush... | andrbea
21/7/2016 08:19 | RidiculeAlluvial coltan tends to bare better returns. Unlike gold it's found In bigger pieces and is quite heavy. Alluvial is found in swamps and has moved from the source over millions of years similar to gold. However with alluvial you nearly always find a line and this can be mined with shovels or a small scale mining licence can be applied for. Hard rock requires diamond drilling and it's a very expensive process if your not close to the source. I see a bit of a re rate coming our way. | oilbuy
21/7/2016 07:24 | Oilbuy , can you help the uninitiated understand the difference between hard rock Ta205 and alluvial and how your comments relate to Kennedy? I am not close enough to Kennedy operations to understand the implications of your post 694. | ridicule
20/7/2016 19:53 | This news proves we have a massive lithium deposit that is worth chucking money at to get into near term production! | tommygriff
20/7/2016 12:28 | Hard rock Ta205 is an expensive game. Aluvial is far more profitable and makes most sense. I see the price rising towards $250 once we break $200 per kilo. With exports from the Congo halted with the effects of the Frank agreement producers are starting to run low. Looks like a squeeze might be on the cards. | oilbuy
20/7/2016 10:32 | They were but not lithium and only small. What they're doing makes sense but it's at the expense of pi's as usual. | paleje
20/7/2016 09:55 | Where Jerry Keen and Shore Cap are envolved....you get seriously discounted and dilutive placings. The record is there for all to see! | cpap man
20/7/2016 09:51 | Disappointing to see a placing at 3p. Some are in here well above that placing price. However it's a bad time to raise money unless it's for guaranteed profitable production. Management did well to raise £2M but at a very expensive cost. | oilbuy
20/7/2016 08:58 | kenv rns saying low-priced placing so down 23% actually, tucked away, some hopes of entering the lithium market: Aftan has also identified significant lithium potential from the TVM and anticipates producing lithium concentrate after completion of the Programme, which will enable its entrance into the lithium market. The Lepidolite ore body has resource potential along strike and down dip, studies are ongoing to understand the best way to exploit the Lithium potential. The near term objective will be to produce lithium concentrate followed by lithium carbonate through the upgrade of the concentrate on site. The lithium market has seen enormous recent demand largely driven by its use in portable energy storage batteries in electric vehicles. Further growth is anticipated in this market, where there exists strong long term fundamentals, with many major car manufacturers declaring major positions in the "green" transport, electric vehicle market. The Board believes the Placing will see Aftan become operationally cash flow positive, and generate stronger margins and with the potential to become a lithium producer. | andrbea
